Mai 2022: wir segeln mit einer Bavaria 40 Cruiser aus 2008 von der Lefkas-Marina Richtung Zakynthos in die Ship Wreck Bay und erkundeten das Ionische Meer. Wir waren auf Kefalonia, Ithaka, Kalamos, Atokos, Meghanisi. Start Segeltörn ab: 2:00 Min Shipwreck Bay Zakynthos ab: 8:00 Min Teil 1: Am Donnerstag, den 27.05.22 flogen wir nach Thessaloniki, da das Flugticket 200 Euro pro Person günstiger war, als nach Preveza. So besichtigten wir gleich mal Thessaloniki. Der Bus kostete nur 35 Euro von Thessaloniki nach Preveza. Leider verpassten wir den Anschluss-Bus Von Preveza nach Lefkas und benötigten noch einmal ein Taxi (45 Euro). Würden wir diesen "Umweg" noch mal machen? Nein. Einmal war toll! Thessaloniki war nett. Die Busfahrt war auch ok aber es braucht doch bis zur Marina mindestens 4 Stunden. Und da wir leider ein Taxi benötigten statt der 3 Euro Bus-Tickets war der finanzielle Vorteil dann nicht mehr ganz sooo groß. Am Samstag starteten wir früh von der Lefkas Marina nach Ithaka in die Skinos Bucht. Von dort ging es am Sonntag direkt weiter nach Zakynthos in die AG Nikolaos, um am nächsten Morgen früh in die Shipwreck Bay zu starten. Am Montag waren wir also um kurz nach 8 Uhr und hatten den Strand und das Wrack für uns alleine! Leider liegt die Bucht so früh noch im Schatten. Und ab 9 Uhr kamen ganze Horden von Menschen. Wir segelten danach fein mit raumen Wind nach Kefalonia und warfen den Anker in türkises Wasser in den Poros-Strand. Auf dem Weg knackten wir sogar die 8 kn - Speed - Marke ;) Hier gehts zum Teil 1 : https://youtu.be/WoURYtvIq5E Teil 2: Erst Dienstag Mittag verließen wir die herrliche Bucht vor Poros und segelten gemütlich (bis fast gar nicht) bis Ithaka in die Bucht Pera Pighadi. Dort blieben wir die Nacht vor Anker. Mittwoch segelten wir Richtung Atokos. Eine sehr imposante Bucht, die uns aber zu voll wurde und so segelten wir Richtung Ithaka nach Frikes. Weil wir noch nicht in den Hafen wollten, ankerten wir in der Bucht davor, bis um 15 Uhr noch mal richtig Wind aufkam und wir noch mal mit über 20 kn im Amwindkurs zwischen Ithaka und Lefkada hin und her segelten. Nur so zum Spaß mit über 20 kn Wind und über 8,5 kn Speed. Was ein Ritt ;) Um 17 Uhr bekamen wir dann den letzten Platz in Frikes an dem Kai, bei dem wir auf das 2. mal gut mit Buganker anlegten. Am Donnerstag ging es von Frikes weiter nach Kalamos in die Bucht Porto Leone. Auch ein feiner Ankerspot mit vielen Ziegen. Freitag motorten wir über Meganisi (Badestop) zurück zum Lefkas Stadthafen. Tanken klappte trotz 20 kn Wind gut. Anlegen leider nicht aber der Vercharterer hat das Schiff auch nicht angelegt bekommen ... naja, da bedarf es noch Übung. The sailboat dove 3 needed the bottom cleaned. We beach the boat and clean the sea life off the bottom, and continue our sailing voyage north toward the San Juan Islands.

Départ de Cherbourg pour passer le Raz Blanchard qui a la réputation d'etre un passage délicat . Effectivement, la mer est complètement désordonnée et nous n'avons pas filmé la partie la plus mouvementée. Arrivés à Dièlette , ce port est très calme. Après une journée à la plage, nous repartons vers Cherbourg, passage du Raz Blanchard dans l'autre sens (plus calme qu'à l'allée). Nous retrouvons les copains qui viennent nous accueillir en annexe. Hacemos lo mismo con el cable de la inversora. Sólo nos queda quitar los tornillos que unen los in en blog con la bancada y el motor estará totalmente libre. Como sabéis hay cuatro cines blogs en la parte delantera y dos en la parte trasera. Como veis a hacer este trabajo es bastante fácil y el motor está totalmente desconectado del barco. además desmonta varias piezas para que el motor sea menos voluminoso y pesado por ejemplo la pinza que une el eje con la reductora el filtro del aire el alternador. Que sobresale bastante del motor el motor de arranque que aunque una pieza pequeña pesa bastante todo esto lo volveremos a montar una vez que el motor esté fuera Paso número 2 sacar el motor del interior del barco veréis cómo lo hago con las poleas y la escota de la vela mayor están sujetas a la botavara además de un par de cabos con los que sujetó el motor. paso número 3 meter el nuevo motor en el interior del barco con la ayuda de las poleas de la escota de la vela mayor y la botavara colocamos alrededor del motor dos cabos y a ello unimos las poleas y las cotas de la vela mayor. Paso número 4 introducir el motor en el hueco y colocarlo sobre la bancada, alinear el eje es bastante más fácil de lo que parece . último paso paso número 5 conectar el motor vamos a colocar primero el cable del acelerador como veis el cable coincide perfectamente con la conexión que trae el motor así que solo consiste en apretar la tuerca. Esta es la manguera la que se conecta directamente al motor como veis trae no sé si se crea una regleta que el único que está conecta una regleta entonces eso nos facilita mucho la vida y este el panel. Las conexiones hechas que esto nos facilita mucho la vida y aquí, una de las cosas que más me gusta de este motor es las sencillas que tiene a la hora de hacer conexiones y demás solamente uniendo está regleta tenemos toda la conexión de motor cuadro eléctrico arranque cargador alternador está todo aquí es muy fácil, positivo de la batería cable positivo de la batería directo aquí vais trae su turca ante lo pones dispositivo y el de abajo el negativo tan sencillo como eso de la batería arranque positivo arriba negativo abajo super fácil. Hago el sangrado del circuito del gasoil como especifica el manual del usuario pero lo he dicho pero el motor por supuesto trae un manual del usuario donde explica todo con bastante sencillez, una vez que tenemos el nivel del aceite listo ponemos el tapón y vamos a arrancar el motor.

Hola familia! Como leéis en el título en este vídeo veréis nuestros últimos días en esta isla preciosa antes de llegar a Mallorca. La verdad que quedamos maravillados con el sur de Cerdeña. Lastima que no tuviéramos más tiempo para explorarla entera pero definitivamente volveremos. Si os fijáis un poco se nos nota más relajados en estos dos últimos vídeos ya que los primero 7 días de navegación estábamos más preocupados y atentos por si algo pasaba aunque con el paso de los días y viendo que el barco iba de maravilla empezamos a disfrutar poco a poco de la navegación, los lugares y por supuesto de la compañía. Geoff and Amanda get ready to head out for an adventure in the Cayman Islands. They board the water shuttle over to the island where they meet up with their excursion group. In this episode, they check something major off their bucket list—visiting Stingray City! They board the Allura Catamaran where they enjoy a scenic ride over to the sandbar. They disembark the vessel where they are greeted with many beautiful sightings of stingrays. They even kiss one! Can you use a shelter logic building as a permanent workshop? This is a question I've been asking myself for about 6 months. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a 36' long by 16' wide by 14' tall building. Total cost with shipping was over 8,000 bucks!! Putting up this building was extremely difficult. If it wasn't for my good friend who owns a crane I wouldn't have been able to do it by myself. The plan for this building is to make it my permanent place to build out 23' Crowley Beal boats. This week on The Ocean Cruisers podcast I’m having a chat with Pascale and Troy from the Sailing Youtube Channel - Free Range Sailing and Free Range Homestead They have been cruising round Australia on their Clansman 30, a sloop rigged Australian monohull built in 1969 Troy has spent a life on an in the water as a diver and a commercial mariner. Pascale met Troy in 2014 and has since been spending time sailing and in 2017 they became full time liveaboard cruisers. Last year they performed an extensive refit on their boat, rigging, deck, hardtop, full interior refit to complete their tour of Australia. They have become seasoned anglers and divers and are now settling some roots onland in a homestead they are developing.
