The Burke family was completely spared from the devastation from Hurricane Ian after it took a turn for the east and made landfall south of the Tampa Bay area. The people of Southwest Florida were not so fortunate. The Burke's have been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in that area including Boca Grande, Captiva, Sanibel and Cayo Costa...all areas that will never be the same following this storm.
