It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with my dog anyways, especially if it's warm out in the middle of the day. If I have to leave him inside the van I cover the front seats so he can't climb up and stare out the window and bark. I cover all the windows with reflectix panels I made for insulation, I turn my fantastic sucking air out on max (replaces all the air in the van every 90 seconds). I crack one window in a shaddy lower part of the van to create a consistent airflow. Other than that the fiberglass roof and insulation do a fantastic job of keeping the heat out. In colder climates I set the furnace on at minimum and close down all the windows same as for heat minus venting. - What happened to the girl? Before making the lead keel that will fit underneath our boat, we need to make a mold to smelt it in. In order to do so we have to make a plug that is the same shape and will fit in the concrete to form the mold. One more step closer to the 10,000 lbs lead pour!! El video doblado en español. "Our amazing sabbatical time as vanlifers in New Zealand was over. But now it was time to go back from New Zealand to Brazil and start our new plan. Before that, we slept one more time in our van in a free camp and went to hike up the Mount Maunganui in Tauranga. Stay tuned in our channel Odd Life Crafting! A new season is coming soon!" Roberta “After I finished my Civil Engineering degree in Brazil in the end of 2015 I decided that I wanted to take an extra step. So with the full support of my long time adventure partner I started a Master Degree at Sydney University and that’s how we sold most of our belongings and moved from Brazil to Australia. But 6 months later we realized that actually that was not what we were looking for. So instead of flying back straight to our country, we decided to take a few sabbatical months and travel until the end of 2016. The plan was simple, we wanted to travel to places where it is cheap and/or comfortable, and take the time to think about our own lives so we could decide what we wanted to do from 2017 and on. That’s the story we tell in this first season of Odd Life Crafting” Duca WEEKLY EPISODES EVERY FRIDAY!! We hope to inspire other people to go out and live their dreams. Mas agora era hora de voltar da Nova Zelândia ao Brasil e começar nosso novo plano. Antes disso, dormimos mais uma vez na van e caminhamos até o topo do Monte Maunganui em Tauranga. Fique atento em nosso canal Odd Life Crafting! Let's be friends on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/ransailing/ We set sail north west towards Puerto Rico and the capital San Juan. But before doing that we had time for another visit at the beautiful Flamenco beach in Culebra. The sail to San Juan was perfect despite the calm morning and we loved to sail along the skyline. In San Juan we rented a car to go around town and do some errands and from what we've seen so far we like this city A LOT! We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us. WANT MORE? This week we sail into the gulf stream and all the way to the USA. We finally up anchor and leave the amazing, blue waters of the Bahamas after almost two months. Its a bittersweet moment, for although we are sad to be leaving such amazing island chain, we are finally heading for the USA. Its three days and nights and about 450nm. The weather forecast seems a little unsure of itself, so we are nervous about leaving. However, thanks to the 3kt gulf stream we make good time and arrive in beautiful South Carolina as dawn breaks on the fourth day. We have a beautiful pod of spotted dolphins to welcome us on our last leg of the journey and a truly fitting end for our last big sail of the season. Thanks so much for watching! Hi Everyone! This is our oil change video for a Porsche 986/987 Boxster (S)!. Sorry it is so long 😉 It is the “complete” process including cutting open the filter element for inspection and a bit about using Blackstone Laboratories for oil analysis. That makes for a lot of steps! It is pretty straight forward and should take less than an hour depending on the steps you preform. I believe this also applies to the 996, 997, and 987 1998 through 2008. Not sure of the 987.2 2009 cars. The 996 and 997 are similar, just the engine is in a different spot 😉. If you have any questions or comments (or is I left anything out), please leave them below. Always consult your Owner’s Manual/Shop Manual to verify all steps and values. The following steps are optional: • Prefilling the oil filter housing half way with oil. • Blackstone Laboratories oil test. The parts used are: • Oil Filter Kit (includes large rubber O-Ring): Hengst E14H D77 (99610722560) or MAHLE https://goo.gl/yJLkuD • Case drain plug washer: 900-123-106-30 18X24 (Al) You’ll need: • Filter Cover Socket: 000-721-920-40 • 8mm Hex • Torque Wrench • 10Qts of oil Torque Values: • Case Drain Plug: 37 Ft-Lbs • Oil Filter Cover: 19 Ft-Lbs The oil I use is Mobil1 0W-40, but use what is specified by your owners manual. Oil Test is Blackstone Laboratories (https://www.blackstone-labs.com) I have no affiliation with Blackstone and they did not pay for this kit or Heidi and Franny’s Garage and have no knowledge of this use prior to this video. We hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, please give it a “Thumbs up” and Subscribe to Heidi and Franny’s Garage for more videos to come. At the corner of Life As a lonely traveler I am swallowing the dust… Vocals by Chara Groppa Lyrics by Dionysios Serras For A Moment In Paradise ♫ Original music composition ♫ by Dimitrios Kyriakopoulos 2017 © All Rights Reserved Many thanks for the support: Spiral Blue Andromeda https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNu6pV-KSp59cTuM3qW6isg Eddy Sun Music Probe https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTPsh6MLnkJ2F1R9rfDoAbA For a Moment in Paradise.. Lyrics by Dionysios Serras It‘s the empty Sundays That the Souls color Either grey or Black… I’m going to gladdening places Like in grandma’s stories To find the glaring white… It’s the abandoned celebrations With their fading hidden fires Sobbing out the tears… It is at the pain of Love At the treasure of the dream That I am seeking for a clue… At the corner of Life As a lonely traveler I am swallowing the dust… At the edge of abyss For a moment in paradise I would give my soul and body away… It’s the screaming of the world Stabbing the silence And stopping the laughter… And I am always back to the old days For a friend’s heart To restore our union premises… It’s the wounds of the night that dream with wishes the caress of love.. And am whispering every dawn my prayer to my sun the ruins of the pain.. At the corner of Life As a lonely traveler I am swallowing the dust… At the edge of abyss For a moment in paradise I would give my soul and body away… I would give my soul and body away…

It's no wonder the Fortress of Klis was picked as a location for HBO's hit series, Game of Thrones, with its impressive ruins and surroundings! One little known fact and HBO secret however is that one of the stars of the hit series never left. Meet Keliza; ordinary goat from Klis, turned HBO star. Local Stories is a series dedicated to providing an insight into the quirky aspects of Croatian people, culture, and traditions!

On July 2nd 2017 Liz's darling mum, Dorothy, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's. Fortunately Liz made it to the UK in time to be by her side. We wanted this to be a positive episode for it to reflect the joy that Dorothy brought to Liz's life and which continues to live within her. Just about everybody at one point or another has had either the dream or the passing notion of getting on a boat and doing what I'm doing. And now after more than 2000 nautical miles along the coast of Spain, across to Africa and out into the Atlantic Ocean to Lanzarote Island in the Canaries, Winded Voyage sets out for a new season of discoveries and adventures on S/V Galopin. Come along and follow an ordinary middle aged guy who finally goes and lives the dream discovering the world on a 40 foot sailboat. It's part one of our Crazy Service "Month". Ya know, we think it's one month...but in hindsight what the heck were we thinking? Service, maintenance and boat work is a big part of owning a sailboat which is why we try to share a little glimpse into each of big items we're tackling this time around. We're hoping to get everything complete soon so we can set sail to Panama before the hurricane season comes in full force. Please keep your fingers crossed for us...we'll share more in the next service video and hopefully we'll be gone soon so we can continue the adventure. - Jason, Nikki, Cleo and Singa Wynn Enjoy our vids?
