2019 JJ Giltinan 18' Skiff Championships: Peron Pearse, Eli Liefting and Harry Clark had a great day for races 3 and 4 taking away the double win on handicap. This young team is now firing on all cylinders ready for another two race day.

2019 JJ Giltinan 18' Skiff Championships: C-Tech | Carbon Technology took the win in Race 3 but didn't have a great one in Race 4. Alex, Matt and Sam talk us through their day.

We only see the racing but a huge amount of action starts hours before the race as crews of the JJ Giltinan get their huge racing skiffs in the Boat Park of the Sydney Double Bay 18 Foot Skiff Club. The boats are rigging for Races 3&4 and the take is Kiwi's leading 2:0 and the Aussies are smarting. The forcast today is NorthEaster at 20 knots so Second Rigs are the boats gear of the day.

Olympia is no longer for sale by JMYS. Olympia is a 2014 Kadey Krogen 55 Expedition yacht. She is offered for sale by her original owner who has meticulously maintained her. Olympia’s spacious interior, storage and ease of boarding/disembarking make her an excellent live aboard, full-time cruising vessel. In addition to the port and starboard boarding doors at cockpit sole level, Olympia has two port and starboard access points on the bow and two more port and starboard access points on the Portuguese bridge. The walk-in, full height engine room has three accesses: primarily through a full size door in the guest head, through two hatches in the saloon sole and down a short flight of steps through the lazarette. Her owner has cruised her extensively from the Bahamas (including Eleuthera and the Exumas) to Maine. Olympia is an excellent vessel for the active owner operator couple. Her generous size offers spacious quarters for full time live aboard, entertaining and hosting guests. Guests will appreciate the private accommodations with separate head. Her all cherry interior layout features two staterooms: a forward, full beam master with ensuite full head and a spacious guest room with twin beds. Another full head is a step across the companionway from the guest stateroom. The walk-in engine room has stand up head room for easier service and inspections with central access to both engines. The large, upper level pilothouse has 360-degree visibility and is equipped with two Llebroc helm chairs and a refrigerator/freezer. The spacious entry level saloon is wrapped in warm cherry and features two custom leather club chairs, an L-shaped settee covered in Ultraleather, a bookcase, a cherry hi-lo table that opens to easily seat eight for dinner and can be moved outside for al fresco dining, a 57-bottle wine refrigerator and copious storage. The large, L-shaped gourmet galley is ideal for preparing meals for two or for a crowd. The galley is equipped with top of the line, full size appliances, including a Jenn Air refrigerator with French doors (including an ice maker), GE Profile microwave/convection oven, Blue Star four burner propane range, GE Profile dishwasher, granite countertops, double rolling trash containers, and a large stainless steel sink. Endlich gibt es Neuigkeiten von der Dehlya: der Innenausbau wird gefinished, die Rumpfverkleidung kommt dran. Aber: es sind wie so oft die unscheinbaren Arbeiten, die ein Refit-Projekt in die Länge ziehen. Besonders gemein: viele zeitfressende Details fallen später kaum auf.

We are still in the Bay of Islands and enjoying the company of the Christmas cruisers. We enjoy the opportunity to swim with dolphins along the way. We are a family of six who are taking some time out of normal life to travel. We’ve pulled the kids from school and are home schooling while on the road and the water. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a motorhome in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.

Amazing archival footage of Auckland Islands’ Enderby Island as it was in 1954, when French Blue Rabbit and Elephant Seals still lived there, as taken by Zoologist Peter Bull. Peter joined fellow Zoologist Dick Bell and a young technician with the Animal Ecology Section of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) Rowley Taylor (author of Straight Through From London) on a three-man Dominion Museum/DSIR expedition aboard coaster Holmlea, which stopped at Enderby Island en route to Macquarie Island. In this episode we arrive at the archipelago of Los Roques, Venezuela, against many people's advice, as Venezuela is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. But a few friends of ours had visited the islands recently and told us it was safe, and an absolute paradise, so we decided to go there and see for ourselves. And oh how glad we were to have gone! In this part one of the Los Roques episodes, we clear the boat in at Gran Roque, do some exploring, then go to the nearby island of Fransisky. We send Brady up the mast to help navigate between the reefs, and find one of the most amazing islands we have ever seen.... So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. Più probabile che porti la barca a Monastir: il porto è praticamente nel centro della città e poi ad un paio di miglia ci sono alcuni cantieri che mi dicono essere davvero buoni.
