With superb sailing conditions of sunshine and 18 knots of breeze, there have been four very fast and technical races. Dominik Buksak - 5th in Paris 2024 - and his new crew member Adam Glogowski are the first leaders. Four more races scheduled for tomorrow!

DAY 4 AT THE IQFOIL INTERNATIONAL GAMES: FINALISTS SET FOR TOMORROW’S MEDAL SERIES IN LANZAROTE Course and Sprint Slalom racing replace the Marathon as the top eight sailors in each fleet secure their spots for the Grand Final Lanzarote, Spain, February 1, 2025 – The stage is set for the first Medal Series of the 2025 season, as the top eight Men and Women have secured their spots for tomorrow’s knockout finale at the iQFOiL International Games in Marina Rubicón, Lanzarote. What was originally planned as the Marathon Race had to be revised due to unstable wind conditions in the open-water course between Playa Blanca and Los Lobos Island, just off Fuerteventura. The 2025 iQFOiL International Games got underway today at Marina Rubicón, marking the first official races of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle. It was a day of challenging conditions for the 100 athletes from 26 nations, as the wind played a central role, testing both competitors and the Race Committee. The second day of the iQFOiL International Games at Marina Rubicón delivered another thrilling day of racing, with wind well above 20 knots, gusting up to 30, and near-perfect flat-water conditions.
