A glamour day at Papercourt Sailing Club saw light winds for the second Volvo Sailing Academy of the season. Five of the British Sailing Team's top sailors were on hand to introduce 300 beginners to the sport. British Sailing Team Skud sailor Alex Hovden, who learned to sail at Papercourt Sailing Club, got out on the water with a range of beginners, young and old. Team Volvo's Finn sailor Mark Andrews took the paddle boards for a spin and three of the British Sailing Team's top 49er FX sailors: Charlotte Dobson, Sophie Ainsworth GBR FX Girls and Nicola Groves Team Peters Groves passed on expert tips.

Today was the deciding day which started with the end of the quarterfinals and a breeze that held on long enough to determine the champion.
