Siphnos is a wonderful island in the Cyclades. The name means "rocky". In the ancient times Siphnos was one of the richest islands because of its gold and silver mining. Also in the ancient times they were famous for its pottery. I enjoy the calm and nice fijordlike bay Ormos Ak Nikolao, where I took these pictures.
