First portion of Rolling Thunder 2013... unfortunately couldn't stay for the ride through DC, still got some good footage

For this race I had to bring the boat from Vancouver to the Gulf Islands so we made it a weekend event! There were 107 boats on the registration list and it was a very fun start followed by an enjoyable downwind run with so man spinnakers flying! In the end about half the fleet didn't finish due to light to no wind for the latter half of the day, but we stuck it out for the 24 hr time cut off and we could actually see the finish when we ran out of time. Some more of the Modifications we made for the 2013 Season. Rebuilt and moved the Galley, more seating in the main salon/cabin with a U-Shaped Setee, Storage access hatches, replaced factory carpet with new flooring. This time we had a smaller group onboard The Rock Overnight Cruise but that doesn't mean you can't have big fun! In this cruise compilation The Rock takes you out cruising in The Bay of Islands. We did some target shooting, dusk fishing and took you out night kayaking. We even had an amazing jam session with our crew member Melissa(footage will follow). The next day started early with a morning swim followed by breakfast. Ute and Barbara played some pool while the others were snorkeling.
