ThirstyThursday at Dana Point Yacht Club was host to the first ever timed public races on Hobie's new Mirage Eclipse stand up pedal boards. Multiple heats and one super heat, five harbor buoys were used as race marks in a squarish shaped course. Men under 18 yrs and all females raced on 10.5' boards and men over 18 raced on 12' boards.

This is just a few little critters from my May 3 2016 trip onboard the Bilikiki in the Solomon Islands. I didn't take my camera on many dives as I was teaching some of the crew their open water course so I missed a lot of critters with the camera! http://tulasendlesssummer.com On our cruise down to Boca the small weak shackle clip broke which was holding our tender to our tow line. Thank god I was paying attention and spotted it early and thank god the conditions weren't bad. I replaced it with a nice thick shackle that definitely won't break. We made it down to Boca safely and will continue to head South before crossing the Gulf.
