A great day was had by all! Funded and organized by IGY Marinas, and put together with volunteers from the sailing/yachting community in St Maarten, Caribbean, the I-Can Foundation day was a huge success with over 40 participants on hand to help with refurbishing and restoration of the I-Can Orphanage... thanks to all that helped make this day possible, and a day never to forget for the kids that live there and know that they matter! Questions and answers day! An often asked question is what cameras I use and how do I get the mast top shots. So here it is! Gopro Hero 2 and Gopro LCD + for action shots around the boat from different angles. Gopro Hero 4 Silver for when I talk to the camera, cause the camera itself can be placed in a socalled Gopro-frame and with a Goproe soundmuffler this gives great sound without any disturbing wind noice when recoording. Therefore it is best suited as a "talking" cam. Nikon D600 DSLR camera is perfect for shots of the nature around the boat, waves, birds, skyes, other boats/ platforms etc. It provide incredible depht and focus to the pictures and has a bunch of features that are way over my head, but im learning every day.
