Here is the first Skoota 32 powercat being built in foam sandwich at Jacktar Boatworks, Cornwall https://www.jacktarsboatworksltd.com/ The Skoota 32 is a semi displacement powercat suited for a liveaboard cruising couple. Narrow enough to fit down the French canals. Seaworthy enough to go anywhere, fuel range permitting. In the Northern Sea of Cortez, we set off for what we think will be an easy overnight sail, but with much stronger winds than forecasted, our passage quickly turns into a rough, choppy ride, complete with engine trouble. Finally, we arrive into Puerto Refugio, and it truly is a place of refuge, and one of the most beautiful spots in the Sea.
