Après trois jours immobilisés au port d'Hyères, nous faisons cap vers l'Est, impatients de reprendre la mer. Un mouillage à Cap Bénat puis direction les îles du Levant et de Port-Cros. Une jolie découverte que cette dernière ! L'atmosphère et le décor nous plongent dans une ambiance exotique dépaysante. Des pépins ? Bien sûr, on en a ! Comme la panne du moteur de l'annexe ! Nos vacances deviennent un peu plus sportives puisqu'il faut ramer. Mais peu importe, on profite de chaque instant et on les apprécie... C'est par exemple, observer le soleil couchant sur les mélodies de Johnny... pour retenir la nuit...

We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia.  We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way.  Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. Sailing Coco Happy Sunday fellow Coco’ers were back with another weekly sailing vlog instalment. This week we have a change of crew, Dania (Ceylan’s cousin) leaves us to head on home and return to London as she heads to Camp America for the next three months. Kev & Tina replace her and meet up with us in Corsica. We sail through 30+ knot winds and Coco handles like a dream, although we didn’t catch much of it on camera, we battle through and find a nice sheltered anchorage! We find a “pink beach” on the north coast of Sardinia but discover that no one is allowed to actually set foot on the beach. After a trip to the fishing tackle shop we put 4 fishing lines trailing the back of the boat in an attempt to finally catch a fish. We will let you watch the video and find out what the outcome of that was. Spending a good few tipsy nights at anchor we get our “chill” on and the crew is blessed with some homemade Alfie cooking. Seal Beach Yacht Club Pop Tops - 2019 - Series 3 - Race 1 July 11, 2019

Holding an eight point advantage going into the final day, and then doing enough to hang on, enabled Chris Bake’s Team Aqua to be crowned the 44Cup Marstrand World Champions for 2019. The team claimed this year’s title ahead of Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika and Torbjörn Törnqvist’s local heroes aboard Artemis Racing. “I feel really good about it,” said Bake, still dripping from his victor’s plunge once Team Aqua was back at her berth on the Marstrand quayside. “Yesterday was a good day and the boat was going really well. Today was tough – shifty and really patchy.” Today the teams had a long wait out on the water as the breeze faded, subsequently materialising just long enough to allow two races to be sailed before the 1500 cut-off.

Anstatt sich darüber zu ärgern oder darüber hinweg zu sehen, nutzen wir den Müll einfach als tolle Übungsmöglichkeit für ein MOB-Manöver!
