Depois de dois anos navegando pela costa sul do Brasil, voltamos a onde o #SAL começou. Tivemos uma breve parada para curtir o Reveillon em uma enfermaria de hospital, mas estamos de volta. Chegando na Ilha da Cotia encontramos nossos velhos amigos Jack e Angelita do Veleiro Onix e o Paulo e a Rose do Pappy. A viagem não foi tão fácil, acabamos estragando alguns equipamentos, mas foi fantástico reencontrar esta cidade tão linda. #veleiro #paraty

A Mark Boat in a Regatta is a small boat of volunteers who set up marker buoys of different colors and shapes that make up the race course where the race boats must turn around or pass thru a gate, and then record the Names and the Times of the boats passing the Mark. This film shows glimpses of boats passing by the buoys set out by our boat, Mark Boat B, during the 5 days of racing in the Belt & Road Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2020, from 6 to 11th of January 020. Sur les berges , faire le tours côté « EST »pour aller voir nos superbe monolithes. -Retour de justesse 😂 les pieds presqu’à l’eau. -Amarré à quai pour la nuit . -Le lendemain chacun notre tour ,sans Niña , on fait une marche sur la promenade à l’intérieur de l’île . (prise de Photo et récolte de petit fruit sauvages . -Vue les Vents non favorable pour nous et belle rencontre nous sommes rester 3 jours . Voilier Biloup⛵️

It's kind of a funny thing we've never really thought about. The seas start off calm and slowly build with the pending storm heading our way. It's crazy where our minds go when there's time to think. It's difficult to be present in the moment when our minds are overwhelmed by so many questions: Should we sit out cyclone season in Tonga or rush off to New Zealand? Should we fly home and visit family? What about the cats? Which of the broken parts should we replace on our sailboat? Is the boatyard safe if we leave Curiosity? What is all this going to cost us? Where to next? 😱 But as we come within sight of land the overwhelm temporarily fades away and our excitement lifts! Tonga looks freakin' beautiful! At last we are back in the water and ready to start new adventures. Here is the replay of the whole launching event. The video quality is only 720p and the audio is at times terrible but up to 120 folks stuck it out and saw the splash at RAM Marina, a very tight exit, a motor under the famous bridge, as Zaya found Leo a safe place to sit and watch (in one of the cockpit lockers!) and our Russian friend Alex (Rasputin) handled the camera, a pass-by the Spanish fort Castilla de Phillipe and then a return along the other shore to see some of the beautiful riverside properties, back under the bridge where we ran into difficulty finding a berth, only to tie up alongside the bar at MAR Marina. A fitting end to a wonderful day.
