Nous sommes partis de St Eustache (Antilles Hollandaises) à fin février 2020 en direction de Deshaies en Guadeloupe. Pendant la traversée nous avons été confronté à une succession de grains. Nous n'avons jamais vécu une telle succession. Depuis notre arrivée dans les Antilles le 23 décembre, nous avons eu plus de jours de mauvais temps que de journées ensoleillées, d’où notre déception sur la météo aux Caraïbes. Tout ceci avec un pilote automatique et un alternateur en panne, un génois déchiré et un moteur bricolé en attendant Guadeloupe. A comparer, on préfère les Canaries aux Antilles, mais cela sera, peut-être, le sujet d'une autre vidéo !

Présentation en accélérée complète du Sentier du Paysan en Montérégie au Québec entre Lacolle et Sainte-Clotilde, incluant des panoramas, des images satellites (Google) des différentes haltes et des aires de stationnement pour un accès rapide. Vitesse moyenne de croisière dans le vidéo: 25 km/h. L'aller-retour représente un peu plus de 50 km de distance. La piste est entièrement asphaltée et bien protégée malgré les jounée de vent fort du sud (perpendiculaire à la piste). Le parcours est plat sur son ensemble. Il s'agit d'une ancienne voie ferrée reconvertie en piste cyclable. On peut effectuer le trajet en entier ou simplement en parcourir une portion déterminée. With our children leaving the nest soon, we have a goal to become live-aboard world cruisers. We've never been able to make a lot of money, and of course parenting takes up most of our time. And as we know, sailing is a rich persons game. As always, that's not the case. There are many out there sailing on a budget. Well, here comes another couple doing the same thing. We have never had a vacation together, nor even had a honeymoon. However do you know what the good thing is when having children young? You still have time when their off living their lives to enjoy yours! It starts with a sailboat. Learning to sail, working on the vessel, upgrading it to play around with the engineering of making the boat self-sustainable...and of course, family trips and plenty of sailing! We will be out learning the ropes, so to speak. In a few years, we will be selling SV Yemoja and upgrading to a larger sized boat: refitting for sustainable/cruiser/live-aboard/blue water capabilities, and sail the world.
