Compared to recent years, this winter was especially cold and snowy. With the lockdown in place we of course spent most of our time onboard Make My Day. We did however venture out into the city during the Christmas holidays and during the big February freeze. Amsterdam was beautiful as always especially with the Christmas lights along the Spiegelgracht. But it was strange to see it so empty. During the big February freeze, we saw people ice skating and sleigh riding in Amsterdam Noord but no one was skating on the canals in the city while were there. A friend of ours Heleen sent us of photos and video of her ice skating on the Keizersgracht the next day. We have shared them here. Thanks Heleen. Music by Troy and Paula Haag.

She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a fuel range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. She also has an electric swing keel which makes her draft very shallow and easy to enter in shallow water. EP 174: Boat Life is Boat Work in Exotic Places... We finally managed to catch a gap in our rainy weather window to head off to the shops to buys some boat stuff.. one being hooks so i can actually hang stuff up on the boat.. such as hats, towels etc.. I couldn't find anything remotely aesthetically pleasing but managed to find some plastic ones to stick on for the time being.. We also had a window frame that was splitting due to a little peep hole leak we had in our shower so i managed to fix that up and epoxy it before it became a serious matter and we would have to replace the whole window frame 😳😳 We took the dinghy for a good needed TLC scrub and went for a trip on our new set of wheels. 🛵🛵🛵 Our Merchandise shop is also up and running: So go buy some stuff!! https://my-store-10551473.creator-spring.com See ya next week!! We are quickly moving West as we need to be in Cape Hatteras by 15 June 2021 for our insurance to continue. We have a long journey ahead of us so we are taking advantage of every good weather window to safely move from one island to the next. In this episode, we started in St. John's and buddy boated with our friends, Linda and Paul around the island and then to Magen's Bay. We said our goodbyes and made stops in Culebra (Dewey), Vieques (Esperanza), Patillas (PR), and finally to Caje De Muertos (PR). From here we prepare for the Mona Passage leaving out of Puerto Real, but that's the next video. This Sundeer 64 yacht has a lot to love. In a nutshell she's pretty, performance-oriented, and has plenty of accommodation. In addition she's designed and outfitted for going anywhere. Lastly, she's a reasonable price for a 64' yacht of this quality at an asking price of $549,000. The combination of the aft helms, protected pilothouse, cutter ketch rig, and her fast design make this as close to a perfect 64' as you can get in my humble opinion. She's practical, not flashy, and that's refreshing in a boat this size.
