30 MAKE MY DAY- Winter in lockdown Amsterdam 2020/2021

Compared to recent years, this winter was especially cold and snowy. With the lockdown in place we of course spent most of our time onboard Make My Day. We did however venture out into the city during the Christmas holidays and during the big February freeze. Amsterdam was beautiful as always especially with the Christmas lights along the Spiegelgracht. But it was strange to see it so empty. During the big February freeze, we saw people ice skating and sleigh riding in Amsterdam Noord but no one was skating on the canals in the city while were there. A friend of ours Heleen sent us of photos and video of her ice skating on the Keizersgracht the next day. We have shared them here. Thanks Heleen. Music by Troy and Paula Haag.
