FIRST DIVE in the river Seine. What's the problem now? | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR Ep 26 After a day exploring around Poses we carried on our trip up the river Seine. The initial plan was to go straight to Vernon but when we saw Les Andelys we couldn't resist. The pontoon used by the cruise ships was free and the view of the castle was spectacular. It was the perfect opportunity to jump in the water and dive to check the propeller as for the last few days we have been hearing a strange knocking noise coming from the stern whilst on gear. After a lovely night in Les Andelys we headed out to Vernon where again we could stop on one of the cruise ships pontoons. Let's go where most people don't! That's how we like to sail anyway. So when people told us that the north side of the second largest island in Fiji was rarely visited we were curious to check it out. It certainly didn't disappoint. We never thought we'd see a turtle hatch and take it's first swim. Maybe only with an organized tour at best! So going ashore for a beach BBQ on a remote sand spit, and to bump into this little guy was unreal! The huge sharks, the mantas, lobster and locals made this side of the island way better!

In this episode, Debbie and Captain Keeldragger motor sail to Avalon, Catalina Island. We pick up a mooring and kick back a cold one for a nice relaxing afternoon. The next morning, we head over to White Cove where we drop the hook and do some snorkeling. We haul anchor around noon and sail back to San Pedro. We have an epic beam reach and sail thru some shipping traffic. Our motor stalls just as we arrived at Angel's Gate. We do a quick jibe to avoid an incoming container ship and outgoing tug boat. Our first order of business is to get offshore while we assess the situation. We decide to call Vessel Assist for a two since we are sans engine.
