On a recent trip to Cebu, HH President Seth Hynes sat down with independent Marine Surveyor Simon Pickering to discuss the now famous HH44-03. Simon has been working with several HH owners and is uniquely positioned to speak about the situation. We hope this interview, and the corresponding builder's statement (see below), will speak to the level of diligence and commitment we have made to ensure that HH44-03 (and our entire fleet) is safe, seaworthy, and operating as intended. We are pleased to announce that HH44-03 never actually experienced any stray currents, and is now available for sale. The yacht, which has recently received several upgrades implemented, is in excellent sail-away-condition, and is being sold with an extended warranty for added peace of mind. If you have questions about HH44-03 or would like information regarding the purchase of this yacht, please email sales@hhcatamarans.com. The all new HH52 is an evolution of our Morrelli Melvin designed, award winning HH50, which we have reimagined with electrification in mind and two different helm options. Owners can specify either aft swing helms or a forward cockpit with optional tiller chairs. Regardless of which design you choose, this yacht brings the very latest design features and performance improvements to our mid-size luxury cruising catamaran. The HH52-OC is roughly the same price as an Outremer 52, meanwhile a full carbon HH52-SC is considerably cheaper than a Balance 526 or Kinetic KC54. As of today, hulls are still available for a 2026 delivery. For a detailed information packet, please contact us here: https://www.hhcatamarans.com/contact This is the second video of a four part series. The all new HH Catamarans HH44 is a ground breaking yacht offered in two versions: Ocean Cruising (OC) and Sports Cruising (SC). In this video we hear from Paul Hakes (CEO & Co-Founder of HH) and James Hakes (HH Naval Architect) on how they and the team at HH Catamarans envisioned the differences between these two models. UPDATE: Since the recording of this episode we have renamed the "HH" version the "SC" (Sports Cruising) version to better explain the key features of the sportier model. Meanwhile the "OC" (Ocean Cruising) version could be described as an easy to handle, owner/operator style boat that still offers plenty of performance for enjoyable world cruising. A true performance sailboat needs more than just great design. It requires special building techniques that maximize stiffness and minimizes weight. This is what allows our HH Catamarans to sail in incredibly light air or to push the boat hard in heavy air. But don't try this with an ordinary cruising catamaran. You need a boat built for this type of sailing where no expense has been spared in strengthening and reinforcing the structure, daggerboards, mast and rigging to handle the loads associated with a true performance catamaran. Welcome to cruising with Performance, Luxury and Carbon Construction. Welcome to "Yachting Evolved."
