Clarence Town on Long Island is a sleepy little, modest town, but their bay is RICH with sand dollars. I could not believe my eyes when we swam under the boat and they littered the sand like cheap trash. It made my day as it's my favorite shell and where I have lived, they are rare to find. Our stop in Clarence Town was brief, but a wonderful respite. We had a great time walking the town and visiting the two churches. Our plan was to visit the Blue Hole, BUT then we found a big oil dump in our bilge and had to change our plans. We decided to do an overnight trip to Georgetown instead and get a mechanic on board to diagnose the issue. We were disappointed not to make more stops on Long Island, but we will return and get to the Blue Hole too. We tried our hand in fishing again, but no bites! Maybe the sea is too flat? Maybe we have the wrong technique or lures? Depuis l'abordage, nous sommes au chantier pour remettre au plus vite Lady M au mieux de sa forme. Le dernier épisode, nous avons eu une mésaventure : un abordage avec un voilier en acier de 30m. Du coup, on s'est arrêté et on répare. On n'est pas déçus, 15 jours après nous voilà de nouveau avec Lady M qui flotte ! On est vraiment débutants et on s’est dit qu’en partageant notre expérience, ça en inspirera sûrement d’autres.
