Met Jord vaar ik oostwaarts terwijl Felia met de auto steeds naar de volgende haven rijdt. Een mooie oplossing. We kunnen een flinke tocht op de gennaker varen, wat echt super lekker gaat. We doen Bénodet aan waar we met Peter en gezin een gezellige avond hebben. Dan verhuizen we naar Port de plaisance de Kernevel en maken een uitstapje naar de Cité de la Voile van Éric Tabarly. Jarenlang heb ik ervan gedroomd om zeilend te gaan waar de wind me brengt. In 2020 was het dan eindelijk zover en heb ik samen met Felia een prachtige reis gemaakt naar Scandinavië en de Baltische staten. Onze Eva, een Atlantic 43 uit 2007, is een aluminium zeiljacht met hefkiel en gebouwd en uitgerust voor reizen naar plaatsen die net achter de horizon liggen. Vanaf 2021 vaar ik met wisselende bemanning zuidwaarts. Ik vind het leuk om onze avonturen met jullie te delen. After checking my latest boat repairs and updates, I contemplate whether the jib sheets should be inside or outside the shrouds!. (Inside by the way) Then with a nice S. Westerly breeze, its off beating for a full tour of the lake, stopping at the Bala Camping Beach and then onwards to the bottom of the lake and to the other Campsite beach for lunch. After a fabulous weekend on Sydney Harbour showing off this brand new Lagoon 42 it was time to sail back to Pittwater. This Lagoon 42 is in syndication with our company Cobli and is now sold out with 6 excited owners in the process of handover.
