L'occasion pour Fabienne de faire quelques images (nous avons joué pour l'équipe de Villenave, merci pour votre confiance, c'était génial). Bravo à toutes et tous en fait, c'était une chouette rencontre avec plein d'excellent.e.s joueuses et joueurs.

The 2021 Investwise Irish Sailing Youth Nationals took place from 28-31 October in the Royal Cork Yacht Club, Crosshaven. 143 young sailors hit the water at the biggest youth event in Ireland in a range of different classes including the 420, ICLA 6 (Laser Radial), ICLA 4 (Laser 4.7), Topper, and 29er. Youth sailors and parents also heard from a range of speakers every evening, including Rio Silver Medallist Annalise Murphy and Olympians Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove. The 2022 Youth Nationals will take place from 21-24 April in Ballyholme Yacht Club.

We bought a Moen Adler faucet from a big box store and got some connectors online to convert from the metric tubing to standard.

We're packing up our apartment and moving onto a 34' sailboat! We've dreamt of living aboard since we met, and in 2016 we bought a small starter boat. We sold it four years later and found this one: a 34' Bruce Roberts called s/v Copacetic. Now this is big enough (we think) to live on, so here we go! It's off to a rough start as we get sick right after we move (with covid, pre-vaccine availability) and enter into an unexpected quarantine to kick off liveaboard life. И также поделились опытом использования в реальных условиях. Вкратце: B&G, SIMRAD, LOWRANCE - это теперь одни и те же плоттеры только под разными именами. Эти приборы наш взгляд и опыт использования показали себя с очень хорошей стороны. Всегда работали и почти никогда не подводили. Raymarine - очень надёжный бренд и в тоже время простой в понимании даже человеку без опыта управления яхтой. Плюс нас удивила плавность и скорость работы плоттера, а это очень важно в наших реалиях. GARMIN - хороший средний бренд который полностью справляется со своими задачами. Но бывают проблемы с надёжность, и также неопытному человеку будет сложнее разобраться в меню и настройках. FURUNO - в коммерческом флоте эта фирма занимает первое место в качестве, точности, и в функциональности. Но лично на мой взгляд они зашли на яхтеный рынок с слишком урезанными функциями. Плюс это новый бренд в малом яхтенге и мы не можем с точностью говорить о его надежности. Но на первый взгляд картплоттеры показались очень качественными. Так что будем следить за этим брендом. Newbie wannabe pirates invest in a few boats, we have a Mirror Dinghy, Bruce Roberts 34, Top Hat 25 Mk1, Timber Hull 23 Alan Rice, and a 14 foot Catamaran which we are repairing, sailing around going on adventures. In todays video we first head to Ogof Clogwyn and Cwm Clydach. After spooking ourselves in some old railway tunnels, we then find an incredible cave with phreatic shevling created by water pushing through the rock. Unfortunatley, it becomes very wet, fast, so we decided to head back out and to our next destination, Eglwys Faen and Craig Y Cilau. After finding several much smaller caves, we find what we were looking for the, 'stone church'. Minus the bats flying around our heads, the many, many false widow spiders and moths, this was such an epic cave and well worth the cross-country route we took to it! Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and been sailing ever since. Also more than 10 years experience from Search and Rescue at sea in Norway. PLEASE BE KIND IN THE COMMENTS!
