Ich bin dann bei viel Wind zurück nach Kiel, wie alles gelaufen ist, seht ihr im Video. Wer Tipps in Sachen Motor hat: "Her damit"! Der Motor ist ein Volvo Penta 2002. Zum Kaltstart zieht man einmal an dem Handle, an der er auch abgestellt wird, (Stoppzug). Die dann eingeschaltete Kaltstarthilfe soll den Kaltstart begünstigen. Offensichtlich bei meinem nicht. Der Motor ist ein Zweizylinder Direkteinspritzer ohne Glühkerzen. Wenn es kalt ist hat er immer seine Probleme. Wenn er läuft ist alles super. Keine Abgaswolke, erreicht seine Drehzahl, alles bestens. Wenn er einmal am Tag gelaufen ist springt er auch immer "auf Schlag" an. Wenn er kalt ist und lange gestanden hat.....??? In Marstrand wurden wir am Morgen von strahlendem Sonnenschein geweckt und ließen den Tag erstmal langsam angehen. Gegen Mittag sollte dann etwas Wind aufkommen und so brachen wir dann auf. Wir fuhren nach Westen durch den gleichen engen Kanal wie am Vortag und setzten dann auf dem offenen Wasser die Segel. Zwischen den Schären ließ der Wind noch etwas zu wünschen übrig, aber als wir aus der Landabdeckung kamen und vor den Schären durchs Kattegat segelten, ging die Post ab! Nel Dicembre del 2016 atterriamo sull'isola di El Porvenir, arcipelago di San Blas, Panama. Queste isole sono un piccolo assaggio di quello che ci riserverà il Pacifico da lì a breve. Sono abitate da un popolo fiero, i Kuna (o Guna Yala), molto legato alle antiche tradizioni della loro gente. Passiamo insieme a loro più di 2 mesi e ci lasciamo trasportare dalla loro cultura. Conosciamo uno sciamano, o Uomo della Medicina (uno degi ultimi), conosciamo i più talentuosi Mola Makers, Liza e Venancio. Le molas sono stoffe ricamate a mano dalle donne Kuna e utilizzate come corpetti per le loro tipiche bluse. Sono vere opere d'arte che richiedono in alcuni casi anche mesi e mesi di lavoro. Mangiamo con le famiglie Kuna pesci e tante, tante aragoste appena pescate proprio per noi. Visitiamo isolotti remoti e luoghi incantevoli. Nel frattempo arriva il 2017 e ci prepariamo per spostarci a Colon, dove ci aspetta un'altra incredibile avventura: il passaggio del Canale di Panama. Buon divertimento! Hi Guys! In this Sailing Episode, we begin BOAT LIFE in Rineia - Delos whilst sitting out the notorious & relentless Meltemi wind. We relax & enjoy this secluded island for a few days whilst deciding which Greek Island to set sail for next. Ross as captain of the boat has to decide whether to head off in the short weather window he was given, whilst feeling very unwell or to stay put, rest and potentially be stuck for who-knows-how-long in these crazy winds! Welcome to another episode of Empress Sailing. This time you"ll see us take us our girls to Medemblik to meet the old owners to do an official handover of our "new to us" 1979 Contest 36 Sailing yacht. We recieve the keys to the boat and enjoy a little party onboard and have a good look around in all the cupboards and at the motor. We quote Lin Pardey: "Go Simple, Go small, Go Now!"
