Prophecy Trimaran is a sailing channel where we share our twice weekly Moreton Bay Boat Club WAGS and SAGS Racing.
Well it was touch and go but we did set off in the end! What with engine trouble I started to doubt we'd ever get going! This video chronicles the work up to the trip, and the first day of travelling. Apologies there are no canal "action" shots, as mum and I were so focused on what we were doing and it was so incredibly stressful I didn't have a spare moment to get the camera out. But I did get footage as the days went on, so hopefully you can look forward to those in next week's video! We had chaos as well as laughs on the trip but... *Spoiler Alert*, we did eventually make it to Aqueduct Marina in more or less one piece! I very much look forward to sharing the rest of the trip with you.
After a long recovery from a torn bicep, I finally get to take SV KYRON (my Pearson 26) solo sailing. Winds were 10-15 knots, average speed 4.8 knots with downwind sailing with jib only hitting 6.5 knots to personal max of 7.8 knots (although briefly)… due to some technical issues, this episode was split into 3 parts to facilitate the upload… still an amateur at vlogging but hopefully you’ll like & subscribe…

Returning to the dock after a windy September solo sailing adventure. This is the 3rd of a 3 part video of my first solo sailing in 2022 following a torn bicep injury. I’m no pro at vlogging or sailing, but I’m always up for an adventure. I hope you like the video, please subscribe for more content.
Arcoa Yachts are built in France. The French shipyard Arcoa Yachts was founded by the Couach family - hereditary yacht builders - in 1947. The company's history goes back 50 years: in 1897, the company Moteurs Couach, which produced marine engines, was opened. The company's history goes back 50 years: in 1897, the company Moteurs Couach, which produced marine engines, was opened. The shipyard stopped working. Arcoa Yachts was ahead of its competitors and became the standard of French shipbuilding style. The boats of the yard combine warm classics with modern technology and design. This Arcoa Motor Yacht has been kept in fair good order. She is lying in Port Ginesta. An impeccable engine service has been done, with the change of filters, oil, new sillemblocs, new bilge pump, new outriggers and antifouling in March 2021. Refrigerator, air conditioning, microwave. During the last year, it has been treated with special care since it has been used as a home.
I sailed from Fort Lauderdale in Florida on the Celebrity Edge. The Edge is the first of a new class of ships, conveniently called the Edge Class. But was the experience any good? Well, with apologies, you'll have to wait for next week's video for a detailed review of the ship... This video will focus on how it felt to be cruising from Florida during a pandemic and is a more general review of the cruise and the itinerary. Trouble is- we were in a pandemic, had a university degree to finish, on a student budget, only had ever sailed dingies, oh and didn’t have a boat. The dream seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, finished our degrees, worked as many hours as physically possible, saved with all our might, got experience and in March 2022 bought our very own sailboat, Teulu. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. We hope you can join us as we sail around the world and keep #bloodydoingit #sailing #boatlife

WOW what an exciting few days! After traveling hundreds of miles in a squashed up car across Tunisia, in North Africa, we finally reach Douz and the gateway to the Sahara. Our first day is spent getting to know our guides, camels, walking the dunes and enjoying camel rides and making camp! The freshly made bread and food is amazing, we spend an evening resting in the dunes and playing fun games, until we watch the sun disappear and try out the Berber sleeping arrangements in the tent they erect for us! It's so much fun! And so different from anything else we've done, including sailing! Remember to join us next week as I show you the highs and lows of Berber life and trekking through the deep Sahara! Thank you to our wonderful patrons, you are really helping to make all this possible! Don't forget to pop over to Patreon to watch all the extra footage, and get all our episodes a week early. We finally reach Wallingford and decide that it is the end of the road for us. We were planning on going all the way to Oxford but time and tide waits for no man. It has been a beautiful way upstream the river but we would like to go a bit down from Windsor so after considering what the weather could do we have decided to turn around. Let's be honest it is getting colder and the rain is showing up on the radar and wouldn't be any fun in cruising under a bad weather. So here we go, back downstream and review the best spots and perhaps stop in different places. Follow our blog with our daily adventures on Facebook . We post our route everyday, showing you the ups and downs of sailing. An amazing adventure documented every single day. Stop there and leave your comment, we reply every single comment! https://www.facebook.com/sailingoceanfox/ Check the photos on Instagram , plus all the journey. We also have the Instagram stories where we register a few seconds of our day all the time. The best place for you to follow us as it is in real time. So much fun. https://instagram.com/sailingoceanfox/ Visit our website where we have our route on the map in real time. It is automatic updated and you can see where we are. You can also choose some official Ocean Fox merch and help to support our journey. https://www.sailingoceanfox.com/ Have a look at the food we eat on board of Ocean Fox. A daily blog of our healthy lifestyle . We eat a Low Carb Mediterranean plant based diet and we just love it. Loads of fresh fish as we catch so much. https://www.facebook.com/healthyonboard/ Please like and share all of that to help us going on this adventure. We are really enjoying this life and sharing everything with you it's been wonderful . Thank you very much, you guys are amazing supporting us with your likes and comments, we really feel that we have a new family out there. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.
