Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and have also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway. PLEASE BE KIND IN THE COMMENTS! I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things that might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. We had a couple of whirlwind days in Athens, Greece this week and had to document our time at some of the most popular attractions (Acropolis, Parthenon, etc). It's truly awe-inspiring walking in places that are thousands of years old. Our Airbnb was older than most buildings in the US! We ditched the boat in Corfu and flew over to pick up Greg and Kerianne, who had a bunch of great surprises for us (mostly sugary treats we can't get overseas). We love having guests spend time with us on this journey!

This Beneteau Oceanis 55 from second owner is in great condition throughout and has never been chartered. She has wide teak laid decks, an electric powered swim platform, and a beamy cockpit fitted out with fully length cushioned benches, a large table with fridge built into it, and two more cushioned sunbeds to either side of the companionway . She has an easy to handle sail plan with an in-mast furling main sail, furling genoa, storm sail, electric winches and an inner forestay. Furthermore, fitted out with; a 75hp Yanmar diesel engine, bow thruster, Dock & Go joystick control and pod-drive system, folding propeller, generator, water maker, and a complete navigation package including AIS and radar. Further to that, a Besenzoni gangway, complete cockpit enclosure, under water lights, life raft, tender with a 15hp outboard, etc. The interior of this Beneteau Oceanis 55 is flooded with natural light thanks to the large port lights and overhead hatches. She is lavishly fitted out with amenities that include a heating system throughout the boat, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, pop-up flat-screen television in the saloon, electric saloon table, leather upholstery, etc. The ample master cabin located forward is fitted out with a vanity/desk with mirror, a separate toilet and a Plexiglass shower area that also enlarges the cabin space around the queen bed. Update the ski was fine but the black powder/dust in the hull of the ski near the drive shaft is a sign of carbon seal wear, in this case it must have been from the previous time it needed replacing Like and Subscribe for more awesome jetsking content :D

The extended range of the vessels allows visitors to dive offshore island reefs such as Daedalus and the Brothers which are inaccessible to dayboats, plus dive the best of the Red Sea’s wrecks on a schedule that minimises interference from the day trippers. With more time and flexibility, it’s much easier to avoid the crowds, see the best of the marine life and, thanks to the use of RIBs, easier to reach those parts of the reef where the day boats are otherwise unable to pick up and drop off their divers.

For the Thanksgiving holiday we visited family in San Diego. Had a great time walking on the beach and seeing seals. The San Diego Zoo was simply wild. We even managed to squeeze in the Griffith Observatory, Getty Museum, a ferry ride to and overnight stay on Catalina Island.
