This video shows our trip down the ICW from Great Bridge, VA to the North River, NC. We’re not too not far from Grandy, NC. The trip down the ICW was beautiful. We spent two nights anchored in the North River. The wind piped up and the rain came down. The high winds make the sea state rough which made the boat move around a lot. Because of this, Victory’s anchor dragged. Shawn was on anchor watch and noticed that Victory was getting closer to us. He called to them to let them know and they sprung into action to hoist the anchor, move the boat to a new spot and then redeployed it.

Taking a short break from dominating the Formula 1 tracks, racing legend Fernando Alonso recently visited Sunreef Yachts to check the progress of his 60 Sunreef Power Eco yacht. Between a meeting with our design team and a tour of the manufacturing halls, the two-time world champion decided to reach for a new podium … at the Sunreef GP. Nobody knows how and when, but at some point, the Sunreef shipyard turned into a racing circuit. With a small RC electric car, Fernando Alonso navigated through our manufacturing facility at full speed, from the Office Grid, through the R&D Curve, all the way to the Carpentry Corner, the Paint Shop Pit Stop, straight to the Launching Pool Leap, and back to the office. _____________ Get in touch with us: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sunreefyachts/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Sunreefluxur... This is a nice and clean, low hours (under 65 hours) quality boat package. 220Hp from the Mercruiser 4.3MPI power plant moves it along really well and is pretty economical on fuel. Comes with a factory tower and bimini top, cockpit and bow covers, cooler, bluetooth stereo, 4 step boarding ladder and many more features! The Searay name has always been synonymous with quality and good features, and the 19spx delivers on all these fronts. Check out www.shuswapmarina.com for more pics and a walkaround video. This is a consignment sale. No trades, thank you. We will not include sales tax in any negotiations, but we will always bring reasonable offers to our clients.

Check out the new Max Cruise 55 ft catamaran at www.maxcruisemarine.com. If you have any questions, email Terry at terry@maxcruisemarine.com This week we take a look at the progression of the large sliding drawer in our galley, which will eventually hold foods like our bread, pastas, coffee, and hopefully other light items. Because we wanted to make it a statement piece, it is very long and covers the entire depth of our inboard galley and settee. The drawer has been been from honeycomb, with a sheet of 12 oz double biased fiberglass on each side. Because it is getting mounted into our foam cored fiberglass though, it is not something we could drill into. Matt needed to decore sections of the foam, and then used epoxy to bond in sections of wood. Some plywood (sourced from a demolition boat) was then attached to those, and finally the drawer slides could be mounted. Unfortunately everything will have to be disassembled again so we can finish out the space with fairing and painting, but we're one step closer now! Link to our boat: https://maxcruisemarine.com/max42sc-sailing-catamaran/ Thank you SO MUCH to our Patrons. On today's episode we decided to head out on a tour of the beautiful St. Vincent main island! There are a bunch of things to see and we really loved what we were able to explore so far. We started off by visiting a botanical garden. There were so many cool trees, flowers and plants. The one tree we saw was probably the biggest tree we've seen in our lives! Apparently that garden area was around 250 years old. Super interesting! Next stop - Fort Charlotte. It was a fort that was built on top of a hill during the British colonial era, in 19th Century. Over the years it has been served as a prison and many many things. The view from the top was so breathtaking! You could see the whole sea with all the islands. Such a cool place! Then our guide took us to a natural water spring. Let me tell you, we did NOT expect how it tasted. It was SO GOOD that we're not even kidding it almost tasted like soda or sparkling water 🤯. There we so many mangos around everywhere we go. Apparently they were going to be ripe in the next couple of weeks. We ended our tour with a beautiful view overlooking all the mountains and the fields. So green and pretty! Thank you for watching this short episode. What an experience it was! Why don't the leaks ever stop? Well, that's because we own a boat and salt water is working non-stop to make its way in and we are working hard to keep it out. But, fresh water also manages to find its way into the boat too. We constantly find leaks and trying to track down where they originate can prove to be both impossible and frustrating. In this video, we make some repairs as a process of elimination, to stop water getting into the boat. #sailing #sanblas #PANAMA #bocasdeltoro #boatprojects #leaks NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET TO KNOW US MORE DEEPLY? I had the opportunity to record another milestone and I'm very excited to share the process of stepping the mast with you! I've put this together the same as the last video where there's a bit more detail at the end if you hang in and watch the whole thing. Hope you enjoy the footage of this exciting day.

We left Les Saints for Guadeloupe, we had beautiful wind and calm seas. We arrived at Bouillante, a little town on the west side of Guadeloupe. We had heard of the amazing hot springs that flow into the bay and we had to go and try it out. The hot springs are supposedly full of nutrients and minerals and are believed to have healing properties. We dived off of a tiny little island off of the south of the bay and we saw the most amazing and concentrated area of coral in all of our travels up the islands. There wasn’t much marine life on the day that we went snorkelling but it was incredible to see such healthy coral. We motored around the corner to the bay just off of Pigeon island and dropped anchor. After about 3 hours we noticed Saoirse was rocking around and went out to investigate, we noticed the sea state was horrendous and some of the monohulls in the bay looked like they were underway! The waves were coming from a very unusual southerly direction. After a few hours the seas calmed down and we all had a good nights sleep. We headed across to Pigeon Island to see what all the hype was about. There had been mixed reviews about the condition of the Jacques Cousteau reserve and how its coral was dead and there was litter everywhere. When we got into the water we were greeted by bright blue, clear water and lots of fish! We swam around the dealer parts first before heading into the shallower area. The shallow area was bustling with people, they were standing on the coral and most of the coral was dead. It is always disappointing witnessing the lack of regard and knowledge about coral reefs and marine life. Even though the shallow sections were dead, there was an abundance of fish. We saw the most parrot fish we have ever seen! After one of our dives at Pigeon island we decided to head back because the water was getting rough. We only realised how rough when we were trying to get back across the bay to Saoirse. Then the fun began! Dragging yachts, drifting tenders and 36knot gust winds. Looking back at it after all the commotion, we had to laugh. So much went wrong in such a short period of time, if only we could have gotten it on camera. We really enjoyed our time in Guadeloupe and couldn’t get over the abundance of sea life in the reserve.

This is a transition episode between sailing vessel Assarain IV and sailing yacht Saoirse. In this episode we travel back to Canada from the USA....having the pass through border crossing three times in just a couple of hours on our way home! The third time there was a bit of a wrinkle. It was great to visit Kevin's family in Ontario, and also Jeannine's family in New Brunswick. We also were happy to take care of some administration at home, like returning our police equipment. We then commenced our travel to Saoirse. First, driving back to the US for our flights from Newark NJ to San Francisco, and subsequently flying to Singapore. The flight to Singapore on United Airlines 29 is said to be one of the longest commercial flight routes in operation, and we got nice comfy seats to make the flight enjoyable. Thanks for following!
