Quarken is a brand from Finland that I have grown to appreciate. In this video I plan to demonstrate this new Quarken 35 Sport Tourer and explain why I believe many of you who have owned sports cruisers with less deadrise and fuller bows will appreciate how much easier it is to drive a hull design like this Quarken both in the ocean and across some of the choppy lake conditions in Michigan USA. I'm specifically highlighting Michigan because I was stopped at FLIBS by around 10 boat owners from Michigan who all told me about conditions on the lake and your desire for a boat that can handle short waves more comfortably. Same goes for anyone wanting to cross from Miami to the Bahamas or Mallorca to Ibiza. This boat will do that job very well for you and entertain a great number of guests while also being perhaps the best adventure hull to park that I have featured on the channel. This is due to the variable speed thruster intergration with the Yamaha joystick which we demonstrate in Part 2 the test drive video.
