Grazie a queste misure e al suo peso, 1450 Kg, è carrellabile, cioè trasportabile su strada trainata da un'auto. E' un natante versatile, cioè si può utilizzare per tanti diversi scopi. Per un'uscita giornaliera, per una crociera di qualche giorno, per pescare. Come tutti i modelli del cantiere cipriota Karnic, può essere allestito e configurato scegliendo tra le varie soluzioni proposte dal costruttore. Ci sono, per esempio, ben quattro diversi layout del pozzetto: libero per la pesca o con il divano poppiero configurato in vari modi. Ha una cabina che permette di pernottare o semplicemente di rilassarsi durante il giorno. C'è anche il bagno separato. Un prezioso legno di noce riveste gli interni. Il ponte di prua è rialzato per dare altezza al vano sottocoperta. La forma larga del materassino non deve ingannare; sotto, la carena è stretta per fendere bene le onde. Con qualche accessorio si può trasformare in un fisherman sportivo con hard top. Lo scafo è stato progettato al computer, modellato da frese robotizzate e viene costruito impiegando resine vinilestere che sono più resistenti all'osmosi, cioè alla penetrazione dell'acqua nella resina. La sentina è completamente riempita di schiuma poliuretanica, così il fondo dello scafo non è allagabile ed è estremamente improbabile che possa affondare. Working with large angle-grinders is grueling and we appreciate their hard work. Our propane tank was designed to be on its side, which is convenient for storage just aft of the cabin house. David begins mocking up a deck box that will act both as storage for needful things and, when ranging farther and living aboard, it will be just the right size for holding a spare, full propane tank, and the empty one when we switch it out. Propane is our main cooking fuel. Ross applies a satisfying first coat of oil on the deck after meticulously taking care of scraping and repairing the pitch alongside George. Yes, we're aware that our guests are not wearing PPE of certain sorts. Follow the steps in the guide and you'll have a working AIS-receiver. First of all, and MOST IMPORTANTLY make sure to buy a dongle with a compatible chip! 1. This episode is all about sailing our 42’ sailboat named Boundless roughly 350 nautical miles from Marina Puesta Del Sol in Nicaragua, to Chiapas Mexico. We are saying goodbye to this amazing country, after a quick but action packed week here. If you are looking for adventure whether by land or sea, we highly recommend visiting, and you can check out last weeks episode to see what I’m talking about! This roughly 72 hour passage is bittersweet, because it is our last sail of the season. When we first bought our Sailboat 3 years ago, it was only outfitted for light weekend sailing. Since then we’ve transformed her into a floating home with all of the necessary systems to keep our family safe and comfortable, for extended periods of time, while living out in nature. Sanitation, laundry, fresh water, ventilation, even the ability to produce these videos. We can run all of these systems for long stretches of time, completely off-grid. But all of these systems ultimately rely on one thing, electricity. Now our system is relatively robust but this week a chain of events lead to our electrical system completely shutting down, and we find ourselves anchored off of a remote island in the middle of the Aegean Sea, without any of the systems that we rely on to survive. #98 Pourquoi je vous raconte tout ça... Peut-être pour dire à quel point la vie est imprévisible. À quel point il m'a prit du temps à accepter ce qui nous arrive. Il existe un réel défi lorsqu'on vit à deux sur un voilier. On devient des amoureux qui oui, partagent leur vie. Mais on devient aussi l'équipage d'un voilier. Et c'est parfois difficile d'entretenir l'amour, et de toujours faire de sont mieux pour le mettre en premier plan. De se rappeler que l'amour était ce qui avait initié toute cette aventure. Après presque 9 ans à partager notre vie ensemble, à vivre des montagnes russes d'émotions, à grandir ensemble, nous avons finalement pris chacun notre chemin. Je crois que cette séparation sera à jamais l'une des plus grandes tristesse de nos vies. Celle de ne pas avoir réussi à tout gérer en même temps. Celle de s'être brisé le coeur. Cette inexpérience dans la complexité d'être deux humains qui marchent ensemble, mais qui ne regardent pas toujours dans la même direction et qui parfois tribuchent. Ça été extrêment difficile pour nous de vous partager cette nouvelle. Pour ma part, une grande partie de moi avait de la difficulté à l'accepter, à l'assumer. C'était comme si de vous écrire et de partager cette nouvelle rendait l'affaire officielle. Et c'est pour ça que j'ai eu peur de vous le dire. On s'excuse de vous avoir laissé dans l'incompréhension et je suis aussi extrêmement désolée de devoir vous apprendre cette triste nouvelle. Merci de nous avoir remplit d'amour avec vos commentaires tellement, mais tellement, réconfortants. Nous avons reçu les plus beaux mots d'encouragements, des critiques profondes et positives, des témoignages émouvants.. Ce fut un énorme plaisir de pouvoir partager avec vous cette aventure.
