But in our hearts, we are boat people and we were ready to get back out on the water with a trip down to Tassie. Pennicott Wilderness Journeys was kind enough to take us out on a three hour tour (hehe) along the spectacular Tassie coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. We got to see the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere, caves, rock arches and the lighthouse at Tasman Island. But I think the highlight of the trip for both of us was the wild life. The fur seals, penguins and albatrosses were pretty damn cool, but it was just absolutely magical to have dolphins flying along with us at high speed. Safely back on land again, we toured the Port Arthur Historic Site which is both the best preserved convict site in Australia, as well as the site of the largest mass shooting in Australia's history. It was a pretty somber day, but it was important to see. Not done yet, we came back to Hobart for an awesome Saturday Market, a "climb" up a mountain with a name that seemed better suited to New Zealand and another mini road trip. We packed a LOT into our time in Tasmania, but it was absolutely worth it. What a stunning place. Thanks for watching! On Monday and Tuesday I thought I would do a little experimenting with the ISO settings on the Spark. Footage is really awesome on both but there is a difference in them. If you are going to get a Spark, I would DEFINITELY get a micro SD for the footage. Also, the 12 pix camera will not take photos without the SD installed. Welp, getting ready for a run down the Swanee River Saturday... See you then!! :D

In this episode we spend a long time in La Rochelle, France, whilst we are waiting for our gel coat to be repaired from the boat crash that happened in Roscoff. This means, unfortunately we miss out on a couple of weeks sailing and this puts us behind schedule for our Atlantic crossing plans. We try not to stress though and enjoy being in La Rochelle, a lively and beautiful town in France. We meet some amazing people, have a night out which results in Ryan losing one shoe and finding the other floating in the marina the next day (lol), explore the marinas in La Rochelle and have Ryan's family visit for a few days. I let the constraint of bringing my dog with me help me make decisions about where I go and what I do, so I avoid places that ban dogs, and therefore spend more time in nature instead of in cities. - How do you make it work as a digital nomad? My electrical power set-up allows charging my camera and laptop to film and edit almost daily. For Internet access quick and reliable enough to upload my episodes a few at a time, I use coffee shops and libraries. I also use a data package on my phone (10GB), a WiFi antenna, and a WiFi booster.

After taking a little time to ourselves after recovering from the tragic news of Jessica's brother's passing, we're now in Antigua and have a few days before the excitement of Antigua Sail Week begins.
