Here's another hit from the Buttbong crew on Town Fox. Daniel and Ashley made the song up, then we set up drums in GarageBand. We recorded the kids playing the acoustic guitar tracks and then recorded the kids all singing. To top it off we wanted to make a really cheesy video and we did this by firelight at one of our favourite spots! We think we definitely achieved cheesy for with this for sure!!

Hi guys, this is a quick and dirty edit as I’m travelling at the moment and struggling to find the time to film and edit. The footage is very raw but it’s just to give you an update on where we are. We discuss our inmast furling system, have a quick look on a Rapsody boat and a Hallberg-Rassy 57. Last week I was home for 1 day and we went to the Stockholm boat show or Altforsjön in Swedish. Our main goal was to find more equipment for the boat specifically for the charter stuff that needs to be onboard. My electrical power set-up allows charging my camera and laptop to film and edit almost daily. For Internet access quick and reliable enough to upload my episodes a few at a time, I use coffee shops and libraries. I also use a data package on my phone (10GB), a WiFi antenna, and a WiFi booster.

We remove the old windlass to install the new but discover a little more rot than expected! Yosh takes to the soft spots with a chisel and hammer and uncovered wet wood under the fibreglass. Like most boat jobs, things must get worse before they can get better and before you know it, a huge portion of the bow is ripped up and wood taken out. We take you through the steps we used to repair, replace and restore the area. We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We have just sailed 2000nm through Indonesia and have arrived to Malaysia to complete major boat work, ready for the next big adventure. We departed Australia 18 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some beautiful people and experienced different cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! Eis que já se foram 6 meses! Na verdade até passou um pouco, mas para um casal que não lembra há 15 anos a data do dia em que se casou e não é tão apegado assim à essa contagem do tempo... lembramos! rs A gente sempre tentou mostrar a parte boa e a parte ruim de morar a bordo, sem se importar com nada a menos que a verdade. Aqui a gente conta um pouco mais das rotinas a bordo (das boas e das não tão boas) e olha pra trás, para relembrarmos um pouquinho do que já vivemos. Isso ajuda nessa fase chatinha já que estamos "encalhados" aqui na Marina.

After we leave Whangaroa Harbour we head straight for the Bay of Islands to get another dose of white sand and clear water. While we're here we get amongst some Orcas and the kids earn some pocket money busking. We are a family of six who are taking some time out of normal life to travel. We’ve pulled the kids from school and are home schooling while on the road and the water. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a camper in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.
