Contactamos con el Ministerio de Ambiente de Panamá para intentar ayudar, ya que no sabíamos si estaba preparado para sobrevivir por su cuenta si lo soltábamos sin asesoramiento. The key update involved raising the handrail to improve security on the boat. This seemingly small boat project is crucial for safe boating. How to prevent falling overboard. How do you make a safe boat even safer? Easy—raise the bar. Literally. So we’ve taken matters into our own hands by upgrading the safety rail around the aft deck of our 1982 Nauticat motorsailer. These boats are already built like tanks, but we believe there’s always room for improvement—especially when it comes to staying on the boat. In this video, we show how we raised the guard rail height on the aft deck to improve safety and peace of mind while underway. After months of hard work, Maria finally sees our newly renovated boat for the first time! Will she love the changes, or will she have some unexpected feedback? We’ve made some BIG upgrades, including a brand-new teak deck—but how does it feel underfoot? Maria puts it to the ultimate test by walking barefoot!
