Tune in to the Live Stream with Fabrizio next Friday 9th January at 15:00 CET, where you can ask him directly any questions you have about the S-Force 55. Click the link below to join: Friday 9th January 15:00 CET: https://youtube.com/live/a_bE01TFrlk For more information about the S-Force 55m: https://www.northropandjohnson.com/yachts-for-sale/s-force-55-hull-4-181-admiral Contact: Gabriele Modica Ragusa Gabriele.Modica@NorthropandJohnson.com +39 338 770 73 34 S-FORCE 55 HULL #4 Yacht for Sale Length - 181' 1" (55.2m) Builder - Admiral Build - 2027 Guests - 14 Cabins - 6 Crew - 11 Asking Price Upon Request The Admiral S-Force 55m is one of the most exciting new-build opportunities on the market today — a 55-metre aluminium superyacht under construction at The Italian Sea Group, with a delivery window of approximately 20 months and extraordinary flexibility for an owner to customise the layout and interior design. In a previous video, Katia showed you the spectacular Italian Sea Group shipyard — arguably the most visually impressive yacht-building facility in the world. In this episode, David returns to spotlight a specific yacht currently in build: Hull #4 of the S-Force 55 series, for sale with Northrop & Johnson. This series already includes yachts such as Geko, Silver Star and Raja 2, two of which have hugely successful charter records — and when you see the layout, it is easy to understand why. This video uses both on-site footage and detailed renderings to show you exactly what the completed yacht will look like, bringing the hull and superstructure to life. LAYOUT & FEATURES (what we explore in the video) The S-Force 55 offers a genuinely impressive use of space: • A vast beach-club-style swim platform with multiple configuration options • A large aft deck with sliding circular doors offering open-air or enclosed flexibility • A circular main-deck entrance that sets the tone for the yacht’s contemporary style • A full-beam owner’s suite forward on the main deck with the possibility of a private balcony • Four spacious lower-deck guest cabins PLUS a huge full-beam VIP • Crew accommodation for 10 across five cabins, with a proper crew mess • A bridge deck designed for charter success: skylounge, aft dining, Captain’s cabin • A touch-and-go helipad forward — doubling as an extraordinary entertainment deck • A sun deck with a stunning plunge pool and panoramic views Performance comes from twin Caterpillar 1900 hp engines, giving a top speed of around 18 knots and a range of approx. 3,500 nm at 10 knots. THE BIGGEST ADVANTAGE: FLEXIBILITY One of the most compelling reasons to buy a yacht at this stage is the ability to shape the final product. As David discusses on board with Sales Manager Fabrizio Massa, Admiral have deliberately engineered an extraordinary degree of flexibility into the S-Force platform: • Multiple aft-deck configurations (open, enclosed, or hybrid) • Custom choices for the beach club: dining, diving, luxury glazing, storage • Several options for interior layouts (5, 6, or even 7 guest cabins if desired) • Full freedom in interior design and finishes, supported by TISG’s world-class design teams • The possibility of custom features such as balconies, cinema rooms, gyms and more Admiral’s portfolio speaks for itself — from Platinum (78m), Kensho (75m) and Life Saga (65m) to the Lamborghini-branded Tecnomar. The Italian Sea Group is a global design powerhouse, and their flexibility reflects the level of sophisticated clients they serve. AN OPPORTUNITY RARELY SEEN ON THE MARKET • A proven platform with multiple successful sisterships • A build already well underway, massively reducing delivery time • A customisable final layout and interior • A pedigree shipyard with a rapidly growing global reputation Whether you are a client, a Captain, a broker or simply fascinated by large-yacht construction, this is a project worth serious attention. Broker contact and full specifications are listed above. COMING NEXT One week after this video is published, we will host a live Q&A with Fabrizio Massa. You’ll be able to ask questions directly about the build, the layout, engineering, delivery schedule and customisation options. #AdmiralYachts #SForce55 #ItalianSeaGroup #SuperyachtBuild #NewBuildYacht #SuperyachtForSale #55mYacht #YachtsForSale #NorthropAndJohnson #SuperyachtConstruction #AluminiumYacht #CustomYacht Follow us also on YouTube @Yachtsforsaleblog @YachtsforCharter @yachtbuilders And our partner's channel: @MarineMaxOnline If you are interested in becoming a yacht broker: yachtbrokermasterclass.com And if you would like to keep updated on events at the Yachts For Sale YouTube team you can join the free INSIDE INFO newsletter at www.yachtsforsaleblog.com

We continue the Cape Dory 30 cutter refit, adding modifications for living aboard and offshore voyaging. Here we remove the two original 30 gallon plastic water tanks which were leaking and were surrounded by a space wasting fiberglass hull liner and constructed two larger integral water tanks built into the hull. Also check the owners youtube channel Aboard the Flying Spur: https://www.youtube.com/@flyingspur/videos Materials used for one tank of approx. 40 gal. (151 L). Inside dimensions 47" L x 26" W (starboard side 24" W) x 13" H on inboard side tapering along hull to 3" H on outside: 1. 2.5 sheets of Diviycell H-80 5 lb density plain sheet, 3/8" thick x 24" x 48". $59 ea. fiberglasssupplydepot.com 2. Beckson 6" deck plate. 3. About 2.5 gal of epoxy resin needed of either a 2.5 gal kit, fast 4-1 hardener EPOX-635414 $162. Or 4 gal kit slow 3-1 hardener EPOX-6353156 $245. uscomposites.com 4. 5 qt (8 oz) Aerosil/Cabosil epoxy thickener FL-AER050 $11 uscomposites.com 5. One Beckson 6.5" Screw-Out Deck Plate DP60-W $26 Defender.com 6. Fiberglass - Use either 1208 biaxial which is composed of 12 oz per sq. yd. cloth stitched to a layer of 3/4oz per sq. ft. chopped mat for total weight of 18.75 oz per sq. yd. Or use a combination of 1208 and the lighter 10 oz E-glass regular fiberglass cloth tape in 4" and 6" width. You want the divinycell panels to be stiff like plywood when finished so when using 1208, one layer on each side is sufficient. When using 10 oz plain cloth use two layers each side. Amount needed will vary depending of type of cloth chosen. fiberglasssupplydepot.com 7. One 1/2" straight plastic thru-hull for tank outlet 8. One 3/4" 90 degree plastic thru-hull for vent 9. 1/2" and 3/4" SHIELDS RUBBER Series 162 Polyester Reinforced Clear PVC Tubing and clamps 10. Sika 291 sealant 11. One gal kit white Total Protect epoxy primer barrier coat $135 totalboat.com 12. One gal kit of Devoe Bar-Rust 233H $123 https://specialtycoatingsinc.com/products/bar-rust-233-off-white Or PPG Aquatapoxy A-61 (or A-6) . You only need about two qts for two coats but you can use leftover to coat bilge or lockers. Labor for each tank approx. 36 hours.

Sam is finally home after working overseas and that can only mean one thing… it’s time to untie the lines! We are prepping the boat for departure, slide out of our marina berth, make a last stop at the fuel wharf, and then point the bow south toward the Whitsundays. With full tanks and big smiles, we set off straight into it on an overnight sail—leaving the docks behind and chasing that offshore feeling once again. This is one of those special sailing days where everything clicks: the crew is back together, the boat is ready, and the horizon is calling. In this episode of our liveaboard sailing around the world series, we anchor at the famous Sandhills of Moreton Island and spend the day exploring one of the most beautiful island destinations in Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. Moreton Island is a must-visit location for sailors, cruisers, and liveaboard boaters, known for its crystal-clear water, white sand beaches, and protected anchorages. After sailing across Moreton Bay, we carefully choose our anchorage and settle into the calm conditions behind the sandhills. Anchoring a sailboat in places like this is a huge part of the liveaboard sailing lifestyle, and it’s moments like these that make travelling the world by sailboat so special. With the boat secure, we head ashore to explore the beach, walking along the shoreline and taking in the natural beauty that makes Moreton Island such a popular cruising stop. This video is a real look at life at anchor, showing what it’s like to live on a sailboat and explore remote islands by boat. If you’re a beginner sailor, new boat owner, or someone researching sailing destinations in Australia, this episode offers inspiration and insight into everyday cruising life. From anchoring out, beach exploring, and enjoying the freedom of sailing, this is authentic liveaboard sailboat life. As the day comes to an end, we return onboard to experience a peaceful sunset at anchor. Watching the sky change colours over Moreton Island while the anchor lights come on across the bay is one of the most magical parts of living aboard a sailboat. These quiet evenings are a reminder of why so many people dream of sailing full time, off-grid boat living, and long-term cruising. If you enjoy sailing vlogs, liveaboard sailing Australia, anchoring at islands, sailboat cruising, and exploring islands by boat, this video is for you. We are going LIVE tonight! A new year, a new chapter, and it feels right to start it with you. We want to talk openly about where Seabird is really headed in 2026. Are we done with the boat, or more committed than ever? Will we finish her, sell her, or finally go sailing? What does this project really mean for our future, and how has it shaped our relationship behind the scenes? What have we learned after all this time, and what would we do differently if we started again? No scripts, no edits. Just an honest chat, your questions, and hopefully a few laughs together *Join us live tonight at 7PM GMT* *Grab yourself some merch here* - https://sailingseabird.com 🌊 *Join our journey* as we restore Seabird from an abandoned sailboat to a home on the sea! Boat: White Shadow is a Van De Stadt ‘Seal’ 36 (11 metres). She is hand made in steel, 2004, with a round bilge (hull) and a modified coach roof. This makes her a ‘one off’ and in my opinion the most beautiful Van De Stadt 36 ever built. The camera gear: Main camera is a Canon R50 with a Rode External mic with a sponge and dead kitten attached. Back up is a Canon 200d. Action scenes and small blogging is done with an Insta 360 Ace2. Some boat shots are done with a Dji gimbal camera. I also use an Insta 360 and have two drones, a Magic mini2 and Mavic pro Editing: Final cut pro on a Macbook. Most of the material for each video is filmed over a period of several weeks or so and the editing of each episode is normally done over several days. This process can take longer if original music is used or permissions are needed for copyrighted materials etc. There are also times when filming, editing and uploading is not possible due to being at sea or in locations with no internet access. Content: I have found that filming and releasing material over a period of time is better than doing ‘vlog’ style videos and trying to make episodes out of whats happened in a week, regardless if it’s good content or not. By filming over a period of time I can be more selective in what goes into each video. My aim is to avoid ‘bland and mundane’ and have at least one or two exciting and interesting events in every video. Every video has to be entertaining. Comments and being at sea: I love reading your comments. Most weeks Im able to read everyone. I cant reply to everybody but I do read and enjoy them. Keep them coming! There are times that It might seem I'm not on the internet for certain periods, this is normally when Im at sea on passage. While Im out on the Ocean I have limited communications with the outside World.

Welcome back to another episode of WE|Sail! As we close out this year and step into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to look back before we look forward. This past year has been our most challenging yet - filled with incredible highs and devastating lows. From our time exploring New Zealand and living the van life, to hosting amazing charters in some of the world's most beautiful places. From my Achilles tendon surgery that changed everything about our plans, to the strain it put on our relationship and the months we spent apart. We faced loss this year - saying goodbye to a dear friend and Warren losing his father. We navigated pain, uncertainty, and moments where we weren't sure what our future would look like. But we also found our way back. To each other, to VA, and to this life we've chosen. This year taught us more than any other - about resilience, about what really matters, about holding on and knowing when to let go. It was a rollercoaster we never saw coming, but one that shaped us in ways we're still discovering. As we stand here now, finally home on VA and ready to start this new chapter, we wanted to share this journey with you. Not just the highlights, but the real, raw, difficult parts too. We hope this video inspires you to take a moment and reflect on your own year - the lessons learned, the growth experienced, the challenges overcome. Here's to new beginnings, new chapters, and a new year full of adventure. Thank you for being part of our journey. We start with some stunning drone footage sent inn from the Sodebo team, taken on 30th December in the Indian Ocean. This really demonstrates just how fast this yacht is travelling, and remember they’ve been doing this 24/7 for over 17 days, without a break. We then take a look at the round the world course. The Sodebo team have smashed record after record over the first 17 days. The first major point is crossing the equator from north to south, which the Sodebo team completed in 4 days, 4 hours and 2 minutes, smashing the previous record set by Spindrift of 4 days, 20 hours and 7 minutes, and put them over 500 nautical miles ahead of Francis Joyon’s IDEC Sport, who currently hold the Jules Verne Trophy and the round the world record. The Sodebo team then stayed close to the South American coastline as they made their way down the South Atlantic and extended their lead to over 1000 nautical miles. In this animation, the yellow boat is Sodebo, with the red boat being the course that IDEC Sport took in 2016/17 when they set the record. This was a slow section for Joyon and his team back then, but Sodebo has had to take a longer route that IDEC Sport, who managed to cut the corner of the Saint Helena high pressure system. Thomas Coville and his team though smashed the record to the Cape of Good Hope, setting a new reference time of 10 days, 23 hours and 55 minutes, beating Gitana’s record of 11 days, 9 hours and 53 minutes, and was nearly two days quicker than Joyon and IDEC Sport’s time. The threat though in the deep south is icebergs. The team have to balance up the benefits of the shorter route, and potentially stronger winds, to the south, with the danger of hitting one of these, which wouldn’t just be an end of their record attempt, it would put their lives in severe danger. The passage across the Indian Ocean is when IDEC Sport enjoyed a near-perfect run, and Sodebo could do nothing as they watched their lead reduced to under 200 nautical miles at times as they gybed to find the best winds, knowing that Joyon and his team back in 2016/17 covered the entire ocean on one gybe at incredible speed. Sodebo has though held the lead and set a new record to Cape Leeuwin of 17 days, 1 hour, and 17 minutes, over 5 and a half hours quicker than IDEC’s time. At the time of recording, Sodebo is to the south of Australia, having covered 770 nautical miles over the past 24 hours at an average speed of 32.2 knots as the crow flies. The Pacific Ocean saw IDEC Sport having to duck north after passing New Zealand, which took them off the ideal path. If Thomas Coville and his team have good weather systems in the Pacific then they could rebuild their lead over the reference time and set a new record to Cape Horn, setting themselves up for the final push up the Atlantic. We end today’s video with another amazing drone flight, from start to finish, recorded on 29th December. You can track Sodebo via https://sodebo-ultim3.sodebo.com/ Thumbnail photo © Jérémie Lecaudey

Wowee it has been A YEAR since we posted our last video, and we’re happy to have our next installment of the barn build to share! Finally it’s time to turn a pile of boards into something real. In this episode, we break down how post-frame walls go together, why we decided to build them on the ground, and how a simple story pole keeps everything lined up—even when nothing is perfectly level. And there’s plenty of overthinking about what “close enough” actually means. Add in some new tools, a homemade jig, and a lot of nails, and by the end the walls are ready to be raised. Who’s got construction experience? Drop us a comment and tell us what we did wrong (or right!). We know we have a ridiculous amount to learn. As always, our deepest thanks to all of you following our journey, we so appreciate you! Hope you enjoy!
