SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! This is a great boat to get out on the water afford-ably! Very comfortable ride, lots of power with the 5.0L V8 220hp engine that has 775 hours on it. Wakeboard tower and bimini top combo works great and the standing height is good for up to 6'4” or so. Extended swim platform makes this boat about 21' overall and adds a lot of real estate at the back of the boat. Snap out carpets are in great shape and have hardly been used. The upholstery gets about a 9 out of 10 due to 2 small cushions that may need to be re-covered due to splitting seams – the rest of the interior is in very good shape. This boat was a rental of ours for 4 seasons since we bought it used in 2011 and has been very troublefree. Our rentals don't go to houseboaters, and we don't allow them to be on the beach. Our rental clientele is mostly families who rent off us for a week at a time each year, and return to rent from us year after year so they treat our equipment very well. If you hadn't been told, you would never be able to guess this was ever a rental! This is an as-is, where is sale, and if not sold before winter it will be detailed further and have a full mechanical inspection done in the Spring and therefore a higher price tag. We have just pulled this off rental last week, and it is in good running condition. There is a cockpit and bow cover set that are in great shape, and the boat comes on the single axle trailer with surge brakes. Puedo prometer que este bicho es muy capaz de hacer mucho más (tal y como se ve en el video oficial de Hang Meng rodado en Beijing). Yo mismo hoy he podido hacer un vuelo de más de 2' con un par de pasadas, ascensos, descensos y un aterrizaje a mi lado. Y no pude seguir porque se me olvida siempre la pérdida de altura con cada giro. Y se puso aún más difícil rodar el vídeo...: 1) sujetando la cámara Y la emisora 2) concentrado en volar PERO también en enfocar el avión 3) lanzar el avión con las manos en la frágil configuración manos-cámara-emisora, de modo que por favor sean generosos y dénle a Me Gusta ;) (English) RC paper airplane HM830 Bought on eBay for about 20€ 5th flight session and still learning to control it. IMPORTANT: you have to climb 3-4 meters before a 180° turn because it loses them during maneuvering. I promise this guy can achieve much more than this (see official Hang Meng video, filmed among the skyscrappers of Beijing-?-) I myself was today able to fly for an over 2 minutes flight with two full passes, climbs, downflights and a last close-to-me landing. And I could have flown much longer if only I didn't forget to climb after each turn to avoid losing height. French builder, JFA Yachts, has released two beautiful videos showing their all-new charter yacht WindQuest, recently delivered to her new Owner. Superyacht WindQuest is a striking long range semi-custom Long Island 85 series catamaran, with both naval architecture as well as interior design by Marc Lombard. JFA Yachts will be present at the following autumn boat shows: Cannes Yachting Festival / 9 - 14 September 2014 Monaco Yacht Show / 24 – 27 September 2014 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show / 30 October – 3 November 2014 Delivery of JFA Long Island 85 sailing yacht WindQuest June 19, 2014 The end of last month saw JFA Yachts successfully deliver sailing yacht WindQuest. Superyacht WindQuest is a beautiful 85-foot fast cruising catamaran, representing the first vessel of a semi-custom “Long Island 85” series. The hulls of luxury yacht WindQuest are aluminium-built while the deck is in composite material. They have been assembled by bonding. This method has been chosen with the naval architect Marc Lombard, to save weight when keeping aluminium hulls. The 85’ catamaran WindQuest offers spaces and performs like a 100’-110’ monohull but with a reduced draught, more comfort and increased stability. Fitted with a carbon mast and boom, her sail area is that of a high performance sailing yacht. The hydraulic winches installed on the flybridge are well-suited to manoeuvring with a reduced crew. The WindQuest yacht is equipped with 2 x 380HP engines and 2 x 27kW generators. At her economical speed, WindQuest motors at 8.6 knots for a fuel consumption of 21 l/h and can reach 12.9 knots at top speed. The 16’ tender stowed aft of the cockpit is launched using an ingenious system comprising a retractable pole in the main boom. This is again a method of optimizing the weight without using a crane. Numerous deck lockers allow the stowing of fenders and mooring ropes as well as all the toys (inflatable SUP boards, snorkelling equipment, wakeboard…). On the superyacht WindQuest, a large garage opening on the aft platform has been provided for stowing 4 bicycles. Outside, there is a large aft cockpit with a seating area on starboard and another one on port with a dining table, sunbeds either side, and a day head. On WindQuest yacht the cockpit can be enclosed using removable panels of seethrough canvas. The flybridge is the home of the outside helm and control winches, leaving room for a seating area and sunbeds. Again in order to keep the weight of the WindQuest yacht down, teak decking has been used only forward of the owners’ cabin and in the aft cockpit. The cockpit is extended inside by a seating area with a bar on starboard and a dining-room on port. The helm station is set up against the bulkhead between the two indoor areas. The glass door aft, the large side portholes and the front windscreen create a very luminous space down below. A few steps on port lead to the owners’ cabin. The “must-have” on the Long Island 85! Stretching across the full beam of the yacht, this exceptionally large suite offers a superb view on 180°, never before seen on a sailing or even on a motor yacht of this size. A few more steps give access to a door opening on a private deck just forward of the owners’ cabin. This semi-custom range allows to answer owners’ expectations. On this model, the port hull houses the owners’ bathroom and their office, which can be converted into a guest cabin while another guest cabin is aft. There is also a guest cabin in the starboard hull, as well as the crew quarter including the skipper’s own cabin, the crew cabin, the galley and mess. The WindQuest yacht offers a total of 124m² of floor space to accommodate 8 guests and 6 crews in extreme comfort. The Long Island 85 is available in 3 versions: 3 guest cabins and an office (like WindQuest); 4 guest cabins and 5 guest cabins. Luxury yacht WindQuest had her maiden voyage in southern Brittany and will sail along the coasts of the English Channel and of the Atlantic between London and Lisbon before heading for the West Indies in October. Luxury superyacht WindQuest is available for luxury yacht charter and is scheduled to be in Europe and the West Indies the first two years, then in North America around the Great Lakes and in the West Indies the 3rd year. The Long Island 85 offers more space and comfort than any yacht of her size.
