WE DID IT!! World's First... a "MARINER" Waterproof Drone filming in 4K with a GoPro Hero4 stabilized on a FULLY WATERPROOF GIMBAL, with Waterproof FPV live-video transmission to the ground station, even from under water! Natürlich gehen wir in Marstrand, Mollösund, Smögen, Hunnebostrand, Grebbbestad und Strömstad an Land, doch wir besuchen auch kleine Schären, sind auf Stora Kornö, in der Karlsvik, auf Keö oder im Weltkulturerbe von Tanum unterwegs. Manchmal mitten im Paradies, manchmal auch mitten auf der Partymeile. Im dritten Teil geht es durch den 100 km langen Oslofjord in die norwegische Hauptstadt. Escaping the cold for the Caribbean racing scene, traveling the world by sea with the Volvo Ocean Race and Miss World, Sea2shore Alliance doing research trips to Cuba and a short history of the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race!

One of the 2 most popular areas in the Rock Islands for Scuba Diving in Palau, Ulong Channel attracted us to visit by sailboat, and dive some of the most well-known dive sites. We anchored in a secluded lagoon, in the Ulong Islands, snuggly surrounded by karst islets. Dinghy exploration of the islets give great views of these famous mushroom shaped islands that have been undercut at sea level. The maze of small lagoons, and little caverns eroded into the sides of the islets give a kaleidoscope of colors on a sunny day. On to the diving! First, the famous Ulong Channel, where we drifted on an out going tide to the drop-off on the out side of the barrier reef. Nice encounters with exotic Angelfish, Big Eyes, and the huge lettuce leaf corals. On the outside, a Grey Reef Shark cruises by. Other dives gave us sights of nice Western Pacific reef fish, and Napoleon Wrasse, and Whitetip Lagoon Sharks. A special treat, was encountering a massive ball of Jacks, swirling, and whirling and gliding and morphing in and out of different formations. So incredible is it to watch and be in the middle of, we wanted the viewer to have this virtual experience. Siaes Tunnel (Cave) was the highlight of our dives in the area. We just let you appreciate the deep mysterious blues and the silhouettes of fish and divers. Filmed in February 2015.

Jellyfish Lake is one of many marine lakes found in the Rock Islands of Palau. A marine lake is a body of water surrounded by land, but underwater, are tiny fissures or channels in the rock, which allow seawater into the lake, but not outside creatures. A special kind of “stingless” jellyfish has evolved in this special environment. The CRRF invited us to come out with them to monitor the lake, the jellyfish, and the tourist impact. Tourists pay a $50 Koror Park Fee and another $50 fee just to visit Jellyfish Lake. Too bad the money from 100,000s of annual visitors, does not seem to go to improving Park facilities or Ranger vigilance at Jellyfish Lake. Introduced species of anemone are crowding out the endemic “jellyfish-eating” anemone and other endemic forms. CRRF staff thinks the visitors unknowingly brought the invaders on their shoes or booties. Hopefully this film will create more awareness to help preserve this site and its marvelous golden inhabitants and their ecosystem. All underwater footage was done by snorkeling and freediving, by Jackie Lee. Filmed in January 2015.
