I have been meaning to do a video about what living off grid means. As I was taping it, I realized that it is so much more than just a set of "actions," and it is really more a complete way of life that surround an ideology. This is by no means an exhaustive discussion, and actually, this just scratches the surface of what living off grid means to us!

Here are the first test scenes captured from our new Sony AX-100 video camera filming in 4K Ultra HD Resolution! All scenes filmed in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) of the CARIBBEAN. First you will some shots from onboard 'Sophisticated Lady' while under sail on the Sir Francis Drake Channel in the BVI.. so keep in mind these shots are all taken freehand from a moving boat! Next you'll see some shots of everyone's favorite, our African Grey Parrot "LUCKY"! Always the entertainer, she never disappoints the audience when posing for the camera, Lol. In the World on Water March 15 we feature the launch of SAFRAN the IMOCA 60 or the "boat with the Dali mustache". It is one of the most important boat launches for this year. Also is the beautiful super-yachts in the YCCS Loro Piana Caribbean Rendezvous, Day 71 of the Barcelona World Race, the building of the new TP52 Azzurra and the Volvo fleet are kept in bed in Auckland as a cyclone passes through. I visited the Esen shipyard in Bodrum, Turkey, and was impressed to find a young and dynamic team building a beautifully designed 50m single masted sloop. Project TROY promises to become an iconic sailing yacht for this decade, and I hope to follow her build and delivery closely.
