The Sunreef Supreme 68 Eagle Wings is the first launch within the new Sunreef Supreme Range. This spectacular sailing catamaran was premiered at this year’s Singapore Yacht Show and attracted a lot of attention. It was the first time the industry has seen a sailing catamaran under 24 meters in length with a total living space equaling 300 sqm - the kind of comfort you would normally expect to find on a superyacht. The Sunreef Supreme’s architecture revisits the way catamarans have been so far designed. A new, radical concept of the superstructure allows to keep the saloon and exterior deck on the same level. As a result, Eagle Wings boasts an enormous main room surrounded with floor to ceiling glass - a smooth, seamless space opening onto the cockpit and giving direct access to the deck through sliding doors on both sides of the yacht. The exterior and interior surfaces of the boat merge into one panoramic lounging and dining area. The yacht’s 65m² custom-designed main room combining shades of smoked oak and deep blue, features a large well equipped galley and a dining area with easy access to storage and one of the boat’s two wine coolers. A pop-up TV is installed in the cabinet facing the large table for ten. Placed amidships is a vast lounge expertly utilizing the boat’s impressive beam. The central seating area with immense sofas is surrounded with an onyx-clad bar to portside and a card table to starboard. As Eagle Wings puts the emphasis on music and entertainment, a karaoke system is installed and a large TV drops down from the saloon’s ceiling. An upright piano is also placed in the bow part of the room. The layout comprises two beautifully appointed guest cabins with large private bathrooms with stone tile finishing and two voluminous master suites. The portside staircase features a custom-made stairlift as to facilitate cabin access for one of the Owner’s older family members. The master cabins are spacious retreats, fitted with large double beds, a sofa, a drop-down TV, a generous dressing and bathroom. The crew quarters on Eagle Wings are roomy and comfortable. They will sleep three people in the aft portside cabin and one in the boat’s ample forepeak. Eagle Wings features an immense flybridge topped with an elegant bimini. This scenic area is fitted with a bar, a large sofa and mattresses to obtain a vast dining and lounging space of 65m2. The yacht’s front terrace is the place to relax on the large sun pads or to enjoy a bath in the Jacuzzi. The boat is equipped with an aft garage – featured on all the Sunreef Supreme 68’s. This voluminous space allows to conveniently store a 5m tender and up to two jet-skis, diving gear and sails. The garage door, when lowered, levels with the yacht’s aft platforms to create an exterior lounging and sunbathing space. The boat’s mast is fixed at flybridge level with a carbon-made transversal arch-shaped beam - an innovative system designed to keep the saloon’s surface entirely open. Sunreef Yachts’ latest concept was created to respond to a growing demand for more personalized, comfortable and technically advanced units and embodies a very specific philosophy of yacht creation. The Sunreef Supreme is an audacious line of yachts and superyachts designed to become the world’s most comfortable and spacious range of lifestyle-oriented boats

After Delos is destroyed by volcanic ash we do our best to clean up the mess and get the hell out of dodge! We sail to the funny little town of Myanbunder, eat some butter chicken and grab some fresh veggies. While there we here a rumor of an island on the West coast with elephants running free. We drop everything and set sail for Interview Island. On our overnight passage we catch a crazy amount of fish! Seriously, the fish are jumping on our line and it's awesome! We make it to Interview Island only to get turned away because we have the wrong permit. We chill for a bit, eat some sushi, and make a plan for a mission the next day in the dinghy cutting through a river back to Myanbunder to get our permit. Footage from April 2015. Our Mission It’s simple really- we just want to make you SMILE! We do this because we LOVE it. Given our short time on this AMAZING PLANET there’s absolutely, positively, nothing more we’d rather be doing with our time! We hope by sharing this adventure you will find some inspiration in your life. If doesn’t have to be sailing. It can be anything at all. Just take a few minutes every day for yourself, breathe deep and relax, and don’t forget to SMILE! Send Us Love We LOVE sailing, we LOVE traveling, and we LOVE making videos about it! See all projects of the re-fit at https://havewindwilltravel.com. You might have thought it was the new wire rigging, or the bottom job, or the (oh yeah) falling-off keel but you'd be wrong. It was the horrendous job of popping our our windows, scraping away the mess, replacing the crackled lexan, then painting and putting them back in. Particularly when one was 5,200'ed (that's a word) in. Enjoy!

Welcome to a follow-up FTB Extra in which we discuss in more detail Esper's engine issues. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel by clicking this link: https://www.youtube.com/user/spannerheadz?sub_confirmation=1 Since our last update we received an overwhelming level of support from around the world, from advice and ideas to links to spare parts and even a couple of engines. We really appreciate it, thank you to everyone who contributed. Our engine situation is not something we're taking lightly and so we've taken on board all your suggestions and carefully considered each option. In this clip we break them down for you and look at repairing the engine, getting a recon engine, consider an electric/hybrid engine alternative and look at new diesel engines. Also we'll briefly discuss batteries. (con't below) ****************************** Be one of the good guys: https://www.patreon.com/followtheboat Be the first to know: http://eepurl.com/B9Ykn Subscribe to our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/spannerheadz?sub_confirmation=1 Blog: http://www.followtheboat.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/followtheboat Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/followtheboat ****************************** To help put all this in context it's important to examine our situation and our requirements whilst living aboard. This alone has an impact on a couple of options so let's break it down a bit more. We've been living aboard Esper for ten years and we spend most of our time at anchor. We've crossed a number of seas and plan to do so again soon but right now we are cruising in between anchorages, reefs and rocks. Sometimes the weather can get hairy and in the past we've had to run our engine for hours at a time in order to get ourselves out of predicaments. We have cruised and plan to cruise some more remote places. These remote places are sometimes a hundred miles or more from human habitation. This has a significant impact on parts and availability. We love our technology and run laptops, tablets, smartphones and have a number of items to charge throughout the day, not least cameras and drone batteries. We watch movies, play music and have other creature comforts that means we consume a fair amount of amps over a 24 hour period. So, we put high demands on our domestic battery bank and we do not day-sail between marinas. This means we are relying on the boat to keep our batteries topped up daily. We don't return to the mainland to plug in to the grid. It's worth emphasising that, despite not wanting to admit it, we rely on our engine daily. Sailing is all very well but the engine is the heart of Esper and as important as the sails. Many of the places we have visited in the last ten years wouldn't have been accessible without the engine.
