Queremos que todos a bordo possam ter felicidade elevada ao infinito, mesmo que seja por breves momentos de alegria. É recomendável, no entanto, a simples eliminação dos livros e papéis que contenham o nome antigo. Não se esqueça das bóias e do nome gravado no costado. Em nenhuma hipótese carregue a bordo qualquer coisa que exiba o novo nome até que todo o processo de purificação esteja terminado. 1) Quando você estiver certo de ter eliminado todos os vestígios do nome antigo, prepare uma chapa de metal com o antigo nome escrito com caneta hidrocor (tinta solúvel em água). Você irá necessitar também de uma garrafa de champagne de boa qualidade. Como se trata de uma ocasião solene, convide seus amigos para servirem de testemunhas. 2) Comece o ritual invocando o nome do soberano das profundezas como a seguir: "Oh poderoso soberano dos mares e oceanos, a quem todos os barcos e nós que nos aventuramos em seus vastos domínios somos obrigados a prestar homenagens, lhe imploramos na sua imensa graça que elimine definitivamente de seus registros o nome "Miguelito" o qual deixou de ser uma entidade em seus domínios. Como prova disso, nós submetemos esta chapa que o ostenta para ser corroída por seus poderes e, para sempre, banida dos mares (Nesse momento, jogue a chapa com o nome antigo no mar, pela proa do barco). Em agradecimento por sua generosidade, nós oferecemos este brinde a sua majestade e a sua corte (derrame pelo menos metade da garrafa de champagne no mar, observando o sentido de leste para oeste; o restante pode ser oferecido aos amigos que serviram de testemunhas)" É usual que a cerimônia de batismo do novo nome seja executada imediatamente após o ato de purificação. Pode, no entanto, ser executada a qualquer tempo após esta cerimônia. Para o batismo, você irá necessitar mais champagne. Sorry :-) Tipps und HINWEISE für Skipper: Alle Ziele liegen derzeit nicht in der Nationalpark-Zone 1 und können bei Niedrigwasser mit Rücksichtnahme der Natur- und Tierwelt besucht und erkundet werden. INFO Törn 1: Dieser Törn sollte nur mit einem Boot mit wenig Tiefgang unternommen werden da sich in der Einfahrt zur Lagune viele hohe Sände befinden. In der Lagune ist es recht tief 1,7m - 4m bei NW). Sonst bei Hochwasser einfahren und vor Ort in der Lagune gucken wo es Tief genug ist und ankern. Der Turm liegt nicht in der ZONE 1 ist aber davon komplett eingerammt. Eintragungen in der Seekarte beachten! INFO Törn 2: Im Wurster Arm ist darauf zu achten, nah am Priel zu ankern (oder trocken fallen) da nördlich dann die Zone 1 beginnt. Eintragungen in der Seekarte beachten! Das Siebhaus hat nicht immer auf, daher vorher checken ob die geöffnet haben. INFO Törn 3: Die Festungsinsel Langlütjen 2 liegt auch außerhalb der ZONE 1. Das trockenfallen hier direkt an der Weser ist nicht ganz ohne da durch die Berufsschifffahrt starker Wellenschlag verursacht werden kann. Daher soweit wie möglich ins Watt hinein fahren und Schutz (Sandbank) suchen. Das betreten der Insel ist derzeit meiner Meinung nach nicht gestattet. Die Insel sollte auch nur außerhalb der Brut- und Setzzeit (also ab ca. November) besucht werden da hier viele Seevögel und Seehunde ihre Nachzucht hüten. Die Priele laufen hier sehr schnell voll. Daher die genau gut die Gezeiten studieren und beobachten (Windrichtung, Nipp / Spring ... etc.). In our case our dog (Hank) had to get several vaccinations and then had to be tested to see if he'd be immune to rabies, if it turns out that Hank isn't immune to rabies then not only will he not get his pet passport but the whole sailing adventure could be called off!

Yes, there came friends and thieves aboard. An act of piracy happened in this peaceful bay. We are in peaceful Tarrafal, where the schooner Oosterschelde anchors regularly. Where tourists come and visit. And as well our French friend Lola, which we met a year and a half ago in Mindelo. The thieves came stealing on Saturday night while crews were on land having a good time. They swam from shore, climbed aboard with knives. Tied, gagged and blindfolded three men aboard a charter yacht next to us about 50 meters away. Meanwhile we are having a good time. The thieves forced the men a knife point to hand over all cash, valuables and electronics as well as a waterproof bag. They swam away with the goods. The localisation signal from the stolen phones indicated they were in Praia a two hours drive away. Luckily no one was injured. Some say it’s The Best Sailing Channel on YouTube!
