Ostatnio zakupiliśmy na nasz jacht Crystal dwa urządzenia tłumiące kiwanie naszego jachtu na kotwicy. Na filmiku zobaczycie, jak się je montuje i czy faktycznie działają. SUBSKRYBUJ KANAŁ jeśli chcesz nas oglądać częściej 🤙⛵😎 Większą część roku spędzamy, stojąc na haku i zaliczyliśmy już niejedną bezsenną noc na otwartym kotwicowisku, kiedy nasza Krysia postanowiła tańczyć rock and rolla. Na pewno nie raz zdarzyło Wam się zakotwiczyć w otwartej zatoce, do której wchodziła łagodna fala z otwartego morza. Wszystko jest ok, dopóki jacht stoi dziobem do fali. Kiedy jednak wiatr ucichnie lub zmieni kierunek, łódka potrafi ustawić się bokiem do wchodzącej fali. Nawet nieduży boczny rozkołys potrafi rozbujać jacht na tyle, że życie w środku staje się nieprzyjemne. W takim wypadku opcje są dwie. Albo rzucić drugą kotwicę z rufy i ustawić się dziobem do fali, albo zastosować tłumik przechyłów po angielsku znany jako flopper stopper. Flopper stoppery polecił nam żeglarz od 10 lat pływający na Hawajach. Craig żyje na jachcie 365 dni w roku, a tutejsze kotwicowiska do osłoniętych nie należą. Większość z nich jest po prostu staniem przy brzegu na otwartym oceanie. Dlatego postanowiliśmy wykorzystać jego doświadczenie i zakupiliśmy 2 tłumiki. Jak działają zobaczcie sami. Oggi è una giornata di pioggia. I lavori di restauro della barca sono andati a rilento, ma le dime delle pareti del bagno sono quasi finite. Qui alla scuola di vela i lavori proseguono e nel cantiere arrivano le pirime barche da sistemare. Al termine del video ho messo un pezzetto di video del mio lavoro istruttore di Base Jumping e tuta alare nelle splendide Dolomiti.

Today's Vlog is about exploring the beatifull reef of Marsa Shona, snorkeling. We are really happy that we changed the port for this underwaterparadise 😀👌 On the 17th of April 2020 we left marina Port Ghalib in Egypt, heading south towards Sudan and Djibouti and finally Maldives. We will take it easy, enjoy the beautiful reefs of the red sea and keep an eye on the corona regulations of the ports we pass. Since many countries are closed we don't know where we will be allowed to go on land again, but we can survive 4 month without seeing anybody 😁 This journey is only a small part of our trip that started 2 years ago. Video date: MARCH 2018 Firstly we’d like to say thanks for the lovely welcome back, the number of messages across all our social media was a huge surprise and makes the time spent editing all worth it. We hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe and that you continue to enjoy our adventure with us. (Video uploaded during the global quarantine). In this episode we depart Staniel Cay and head for a tourist spot that is one of those spots everyone has heard of. All the girls on Instagram go there so of course Hayley wants to go to swim with the sharks. Unfortunately, the business is a victim of their own success and the queue for ‘getting the shot’ really spoils the spirit of the activity. I’ve dived with a lot of sharks over the years and never paid to do it! The guys that own the quay, sell you fish from their freezer to feed the sharks with and somehow, our $30 of fish was given to the girls in front of us so when it was our turn, no fish = no sharks. Hayley got the shot but poor Philip got in the water without a shark in sight and the owners were less than accommodating. I guess we can’t get on with everyone so we put it down to experience and moved on. As we make our way North to Nassau, our next anchorage was called Warderick Wells. A dream location where you can feed the sharks from the back of your boat. They like bacon! From there we headed off to find the wreckage of a drug trafficking plane that Pablo Escobar used to fly drugs into Miami. They would stop off in the Bahamas to refuel but this plane cocked up the landing. I had a good look but everything of value was long gone! Next week we head for Nassau with a stop off to play with the iguanas on an idillic private beach. Please leave a comment, a thumbs up and share to help us build up our channel again. In this episode of Millennial Falcon, we are back on the water and getting our sea legs back. As we splashed back in the water in such a rush we had to finish off a few jobs that we didn’t finish in the yard. Namely, changing out the bolts on our backstay and attempting to fix a very poorly timed refrigerator breakdown! While precariously hanging over the back of the boat installing the backstay bolts was a challenge, even more challenging was attempting to fix our broken fridge. Unfortunately, our attempts fail and we're left fridgeless. With boat projects out the way and done with, we set off for a sail around to St George’s... weather permitting. By the time we go for the sail, it's a beautiful afternoon and we show our new crew the ropes of how to sail and catch a fish (it was probably more of them showing US how to catch one!). While we did manage to get a fish on the line, catching him was a different matter as our boat’s newly painted hull made her a bit too smooth and fast in the water and the poor little fish just couldn't keep up with the lure!... never a complaint we’ve had to make before! We round out the fantastic day sailing by a wrap up in the cockpit of what we’ve been up to in the yard and the sailing day. What we didn't know was that this wonderful day sailing was to be our first and last sail for quite some time. Only days after this episode wrapped we were plunged into lockdown, and have been there ever since.
