Why not get inventive with some plastic or metal rings to guide the control line back inboard behind the cleats. If you are feeling creative add some shockcord and a block to create a take-up system to lead and keep the excess control line out of harm’s way.   Once you have decided on your system, set your cascade/purchase system so that the blocks are as far apart as the cascade allows, then thread your control line including your take-up block behind the cleats. Our stern rope got loose, and we saw it just in time. We were inside to cut our rotten vegetables, to preserve them by drying and jar them in vinegar. Enjoy episode 26! The 17th of April 2020 we left marina Port Ghalib in Egypt, heading south towards Sudan and Djibouti and finally Maldives. We will take it easy, enjoy the beautiful reefs of the red sea and keep an eye on the corona regulations of the ports we pass. Since many countries are closed we don't know where we will be allowed to go on land again, but we can survive 4 month without seeing anybody :) This journey is only a small part of our trip that started 2 years ago. Our friends from Penyav IV also decided to take us to dinner! This was one of the last days that any restaurants were open before the COVID shut down. Anyways enjoy the video and as always let us know what you think! COVID-19 UPDATE As of our time in Norman's Cay: At this time the Bahamas were just starting to take action against the virus. The last few cruise ships were leaving port in Nassau and no more were allowed to enter other ports in the Bahamas. We heard the restaurant at Highbourne Cay, which we had left a few days prior to Norman's Cay, were temperature checking everyone that came ashore as they are a privately owned island. We also heard everyone flying into the Bahamas were getting temperature checked. Regulations were just starting to be put in place. We anchor up just outside an expensive beach resort and find it was difficult to get ashore with the dinghy and most beaches were protected by gates. So then Ine and Marcus decided they want to try out this beach club :) Will they get caught and be thrown out of there? We sail down the Mboli (Utuha) Passage the waterway that separates the two large islands Nggela Sule and Nggela Pile.
