They are very friendly, and they explain us why we can't stay. So we have to get ready and sail to find a new place that gives enough protection for the coming days with strong wind. On the 17th of April 2020 we left marina Port Ghalib in Egypt, heading south towards Sudan and Djibouti and finally Maldives. We will take it easy, enjoy the beautiful reefs of the red sea and keep an eye on the corona regulations of the ports we pass. Since many countries are closed we don't know where we will be allowed to go on land again, but we can survive 4 month without seeing anybody :) This journey is only a small part of our trip that started 2 years ago. We then head to the "rocky dundas", at high tide, and try to get through the underwater entrance to an awesome cave in the rocks, before we run into problems, anchoring under sail in light winds - and Cody has to step up his underwater workout game...! After we dropped our friend Jenna we sail back to the mainland and arrive in Vista Mar Marina. Before we plan to cross the Pacific, we want to renew our antifouling and check our keel. We just ran aground a couple of days ago. Vista Marina does a great job. Unfortunatly the Marina has to deal with big tides on the lifitng pier and it's not so easy to lift a boat with a deep keel like Trampi. We manage to get out just to find out, we have some water in the rudder and big scratches on the keel. Fast 5 day work and we are back in the water where Mario finally fix our VHF cable.
