Fomos convidados a conhecer Muro Alto, Recife e Olinda por um casal muito simpático. Após a rolo no píer flutuante acabamos tendo que deixar o bote amarrado numa árvore na areia. Depois disso partimos para Muro Alto, tomamos um ótimo banho de mar, comemos um pouco e partimos para Recife. Fomos a museus, demos uma volta no centro e terminamos o dia em Olinda. Quando chegamos tarde da noite na praia encontramos o bote todo sujo de areia, as bananas e o piso do bote cobertos de areia. Nachdem wir von Emden nach Borkum gesegelt waren, machten wir uns direkt an die Planung für den nächsten Schlag unseres Überführungstörns von der Nordsee in die Ostsee. Aufgrund der Corona-Situation war die Hafen-Auswahl stark eingeschränkt - wir hatten allerdings einen Liegeplatz auf Wangerooge reservieren können. So hatten wir also einen langen Schlag vor uns, es waren über 60 Seemeilen zu segeln. Und natürlich mussten auch Wind und Gezeiten in die Planung einfließen. So kam es dann dazu, dass die beste Möglichkeit darin bestand, nachts um 23 Uhr auf Borkum abzulegen und zu einer Nachtfahrt über die Nordsee aufzubrechen. So fuhren wir also aus dem Emsfahrwasser am Naturschutzgebiet entlang Richtung Norden, um dann nachts im Verkehrstrennungsgebiet Kurs nach Osten zu setzen. Día 4 de junio, ya tenemos viento componente N y NNW para avanzar claro hacia el puerto de Horta

Ficamos tantos dias a bordo (5 de travessia + 14 de quarentena) que no final estava realmente difícil segurar a ansiedade. Na verdade até o oitavo dia foi tranquilo, mas conforme fomos chegando perto tudo o que queríamos era explorar aquela baía interessante que observávamos há dias de longe. O pessoal da Mayag, que estava organizando toda a logística da chegada dos velejadores, pediu para não ficarmos muito além da nossa quarentena. Então tivemos pouco tempo para explorar a cidade, perambular um pouco e passar no supermercado para abastecer o barco. Foi tudo bem rápido, nos primeiros momentos subimos o morro para entender a geografia do lugar e procurar uma loja de dessalinizadores que não encontramos. Depois paramos na descida em um restaurante com uma vista fabulosa. Sem carro, ficamos restritos às distâncias que o nosso botinho pode percorrer, de preferência, não à noite... mas às vezes (muitas vezes dependendo do teor alcoólico) nos aventuramos - nunca sozinhos! Mercado é sempre aquela função de carregar coisa, arrastar carrinho pela cidade, carregar peso, carregar bote, descarregar bote, limpar coisas, esterilizar embalagens e frutas e processar carnes que eu já mostrei por aqui, dessa vez resolvi poupá-los.

We are filling holes in the steering pedestal and making it look pretty with WetEdge topside paint from TotalBoat. Between sanding and fairing they start removing things from the mast so it can be rewired and repaired. The sheaves are frozen and it takes a lot of penetrating lubricant and muscle to get them loose. Refitting an old sailboat is definitely a project, but nothing can stop you if your dream is big enough and you just keep working your plan. Never give up!
