Der Sturm vom Vortag hatte sich etwas gelegt, so dass wir beschlossen am frühen morgen Richtung Donsö in den schwedischen Westschären aufzubrechen. Leider stand soviel Schwell in der Hafeneinfahrt, dass unser Skipper direkt beim Segel setzen seekrank geworden ist. Kurz darauf wurde auch noch Jessi seekrank. Die Wellen hatten ca. 2 bis 2,5 m Höhe und es war super anstrengend bei dem starken Wind und den hohen Wellen zu steuern. Außerdem waren vor der Küste sehr viele Reusen aufgestellt. Hier mussten wir stellenweise Slalom um die Reusen drum herum fahren und es war zum Teil sehr schwierig die Reusen bei dem starken Seegang zu sehen. Aber Jan und Nina haben Mystra sicher in den Hafen gebracht. Leider haben wir es nicht geschafft unter den Bedingungen Videomaterial zu sammeln und wir haben erst angefangen zu filmen, als das Wetter wieder gnädiger wurde. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag sind wir sicher auf Donsö angekommen. Danny und Nina haben die Gelegenheit genutzt und haben sich noch ein bisschen das Inselchen angeschaut. Es war immer noch sehr windig und uns sind mehrere Male fast die Mützen weggeflogen. #60 Un épisode de bons moments au chantier et d'avancement dans les travaux du bateau (on y est presque!). On commence d'abord en célébrant Noël à bord de notre voilier, le tout agrémenté de déco intérieur qui nous fait sentir chez nous. Après cette petite pause des travaux lourds, on se remet sérieusement à l'ouvrage et on range notre atelier de fibre de verre, nettoie le bateau et organise notre set-up de mouillage. Enfin, il est temps d'appliquer une peinture pour protéger notre safran en inox et notre grosse réparation interne de l'aileron de safran. Des étapes satisfaisantes qui nous rapprochent de plus en plus de la mise à l'eau. Ahhh! J'ai presque oublié! Bei der Veranstaltung wird die An- und Abreise organisiert, die Verteielung der Teilnehmer auf die Yachten und die Proviantierung der Yachten. Zum Event-Start gibt es immer eine große Abendveranstaltung wo sich alle Teilnehmer kennenlernen. Die bei den Tagesetappen gefahrenen Regatten werden ausgewertet und die Gewinner-Crews im Zielhafen mit der obligatorischen Siegerehrung prämiert. Spaß mit Freunden Segeln zu gehen steht bei der Veranstaltung an erster Stelle.

Esta aventura comienza con cuatro desconocidos que por diversas circunstancias se encuentran para hacer una travesía de Canarias a Baleares El viaje no podía empezar mejor, saliendo de Tenerife una manada de delfines nos despedían rumbo al atlántico El océano te hace sentir pequeño, tanto, que te hace perder la noción del tiempo. Pescamos, hicimos paddle surf, leímos, hicimos guardias nocturnas, hablamos mucho... después de tres días navegando nos daba la sensación de conocernos de toda la vida. Al sexto día llegamos al estrecho entre ballenas y cachalotes. Un espectáculo verlas saltar!! La verdad es que ver tierra después de seis días es una sensación agradable. En Gibraltar tuvimos un problemilla con la refrigeración del motor que Wilson y Agus se encargaron de resolver para zapar rumbo a Formentera, nuestra primera parada. En este segundo tramo de la travesía surfeamos olas gigantes con el catamarán, escapamos de un temporal en el mar del Alborán y vimos el espectáculo del placton luminiscente golpeando el casco por las noches. En Formentera nos esperaba el paraíso y la increíble pandilla de Wilson que nos acogieron durante tres días como si fueramos uno más de la familia Agradecimientos a Eccyacht por el ILUSION, barco que da nombre a este documental. Custom Steel Huntward Cutter 42 from 1986 which has been extensively rebuilt during 2014 to 2018 by the present owner. Having already completed a world circumnavigation this vessel was bought by the current owner and he spent four years preparing her to go around again. Unfortunately for personal reasons this is no longer a viable plan and he is going to move to a smaller yacht. A huge sum has been spent on getting the boat ready and all bills are available. Could also be used for high latitude sailing expeditions.
