Ciao Amici! Buona Pasqua e bentornati sul Giugyssima! Il video di oggi é il terzo episodio del Giugyssima Book Club nel quale, alla fine di ogni mese, condivido con voi tutti i libri che ho letto durante il mese. Cercherò di riassumere i punti principali di ciascun libro (senza spoilerare nulla), in modo che possiate capire se fa al caso vostro ed ispirarvi a leggere di più. Spero anche che il Giugyssima Book Club possa essere un angolo del canale in cui anche voi possiate condividere i vostri consigli di lettura e le vostre opinioni sui libri. Nel mese di marzo ho letto meno libri rispetto al solito, un po' a causa del lavoro a tempo pieno, al quale ho dedicato molto tempo, un po' per via di altri impegni. Avendo poco tempo a disposizione, ho apprezzato ancora di più i momenti dedicati alla lettura e spero di poter leggere più libri ad Aprile. I’ve spent three years onboard the Jacq Daniel’s and my fiancé Rona has been with me on the boat for four months now and has completely transformed the inside. Nothing is worse than a cluttered boat and Rona, who has over a decade of experience as a stewardess on private mega yachts, is the master of eliminating clutter and the queen of organization. Bootsreparatur in der Karibik! Nachdem wir mit unserem Segelboot in der Karibik angekommen sind. Müssen wir in dieser Folge auf Barbados unsere Rollanlage am Vorstag reparieren. Die Verbindungselemente hatten sich beim segeln auf der Atlantiküberquerung gelöst. Lukas und Andrea von @girasolesailing9955 sind auch wieder fleißig am helfen. Leider gibt es auch noch ein Leck an der Bordtoilette und so müssen wir auch da ran und sie reparieren. Das ist kein "gut riechender" Job :), aber er muss gemacht werden. Unstepping the MAST on our SAILBOAT | SAILING WAYZGOOSE WARRIOR Ep 20 We were both really nervous about unstepping the mast so we tried to prepare as much as we could. We removed the boom, built a-frame supports for the mast, took the second foresail off and measured and lubricated the turnbuckles. The day finally came and we moved the boat to the next basin where the telehandler would lift our mast. After a long cold winter and with covid restrictions in place there wasn’t much going on in Honfleur Marina so we thought that this was the perfect occasion to invite our neighbours and make the most out of the whole operation :) We are so glad they came… We don’t know how we would have managed without them! Von Anholt sollte es weiter nach Westen gehen, der nächste Hafen war also Grenå. Das Wetter war uns nicht wirklich gewogen, der nahe Herbst war schon zu spüren und es war kalt, windig und nass. Für den kurzen Schlag bei ordentlich Wind und Regen mussten wir durch einen Windpark navigieren, was uns schließlich an die Küste Jütlands brachte. Das Wetter war auch am folgenden Hafentag nicht besser, also besuchten wir das bekannte Aquarium Kattegatcenter, welches sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Marina befindet.
