We unbox, inflate and give our opinion on the Bote Aero chair. We had been looking for a portable chair solution for Cavu. We considered bean bag and an everywhere folding chair. Ruling out the bean bags due to storage the everywhere chair seemed to be our only choice. Enter the Bote Aero Chair. I just purchased a Bote inflatable board last moth for Patricia's birthday and we were impressed with the quality. It's water proof, stored small and comfortable.

Installing a high output alternator with large 2 gauge wires to transfer the Amps to the battery. This was a have to install with all the upgrades we did to the jeep like the 1800 watt stereo, 9,500 lbs winch, high powered lights, and AC the stock alternator just couldn't keep up. In fact, a couple of times the load was so great the jeep stalled, not really something you want to happen. The upgraded alternator was needed, not only will it make the battery life longer, it will also keep you on the road instead of looking for a jump. The only thing the most will need is a lug crimping tool and some heavy cable cutters. When you're ready to jump in most of the other tools are pretty standard, unless you have one of those fancy cars, you may be standing on your head trying to get to things. As we got down to cleaning the bilges we discover there is so much oil build up in the main bilge. We wonder whether it is normal for these old Perkins diesel engines to drip a little bit of oil. Perhaps some of it comes from spillage each time the oil was changed..? It is however scary to think that someone may have been okay with using automatic bilge pump to put it all out into the sea! Squalo, sat in the marina neglected for few years and is in need of some TLC so we do our best to revive her a little. Every adventure has a beginning and this channel will document my new adventure on the water. This is my life and my story! I have been adventuring on motorcycles for a long time and have completed most of the motorcycle items on my bucket list. I rode my motorcycle across the USA from East to West, North to South, went all the way north to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and finally all the way south across the continent to Ushuaia, Argentina. In 2020 with the Covid pandemic in full force I visited a sailing school and signed up for the ASA101 class. We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it.
