On lève l’ancre en direction d'Aruba !!! Après 3 mois à Curaçao, il est maintenant temps de découvrir un autre pays, soit notre 15e abord d’Atypic. On réveille Tommy pour qu’il vienne contempler un lever de soleil en pleine navigation, on fait de la voile jusqu’à Aruba et on doit s’accoster dans un port commercial pour faire notre douane et notre immigration avant de devoir obligatoirement prendre un slip de marina, ce qu’on n’a pas fait depuis des mois. Unser Nothafen auf Omø erwies sich als traumhaftes Urlaubsziel! Wir nutzten den Vormittag um zu duschen, Mystra klar zu machen und einen kleinen Rundgang über die Insel zu machen. Etwas früher als geplant legten wir dann ab und segelten Richtung Große Beltbrücke. Notfalls hätten wir abends noch in Kerteminde anlegen können, aber wir waren gut drauf und segelten nach Norden, Richtung Anholt in die Nacht. Leider machten die Windverhältnisse nachts eine Fahrt unter Pinnenpilot unmöglich. Nina hatte immer noch eine Erkältung im Leib und so musste Danny einen Großteil der Nacht alleine das Schiffchen schaukeln und von Hand steuern. Criou-se, entre nós, uma amizade muito bonita e elogiada por pessoas amantes dos pets. Com o tempo, de forma natural e impeceptível, o cão passou a me obedecer em muita coisa, Inclisive não atravessandoa rua sem minha ordem. No mês que completei 66 anos, e o Thor 2,5 anos, por insistênica de amigos e principalmente da minha filha, comprei minha primeira bicicleta da vida. Quando fui pedalar a primeira vez meu corção partiu ao deixar meu amigo. Tentei coloco-lo no guidão, mas ele é grande e eu muito barbeiro. Então encostei a bike e não andei enquanto não comprei um reboque para puxá-lo. Recently, there’s been a lot of discussion about anchoring in Japan, especially after the unfortunate accident involving La Vagabond, who were anchored legally but were struck by a small fishing boat in the middle of the night. Since then, many people have asked me about anchoring, mooring, and related costs. I’m re-releasing this video as a guide for anyone interested in visiting Japan by boat. I’ve visited around 70 ports so far during my voyage around Japan, mostly staying in fishing ports for little or no cost. In this video, I feature two different Sea Stations on the west coast of Kyushu. They offer distinct styles, amenities, and pricing, and I thought it would be interesting for viewers to see both. I’ve stayed at multiple Sea Stations and marinas (where you pay) as well as many fishing ports (typically free), and each option has its pros and cons. While fishing ports don’t usually cost anything, you’ll often have to moor against a concrete wall, constantly adjust your lines with the changing tide, and have a step ladder plus fender boards onboard to handle difficult walls. Meanwhile, most Sea Stations provide floating pontoons that make mooring much easier. Es una maniobra muy sencilla que estoy seguro que a muchos de vosotros os será de utilidad. Este sistema es muy cómodo en nuestro puerto habitual, donde tengamos nuestro amarre. Tendremos un cabo atado a la argolla en el pantalán y en el otro extremo un mosquetón, lo engancharemos al balcón de prueba como mejor nos convenga y os muestro las dos formas que yo uso. La primera es enganchar el mosquetón al mismo cabo y la otra manera de enganchar el mosquetón a una zona firme del balcón . Siempre tengo una boya enganchada en una de las cornamusas, es una boya con un cabiito arriba y en la parte de abajo se conecta con la línea del muerto. Sólo nos quedan soltar los amarres de popa Una vez sueltos cogemos la boya y la llevamos a la mitad del barco, así no aseguramos que queda fuera del alcance del timón y de la hélice. Ahora soltando solo el mosquetón el barco queda totalmente libre. A continuación damos atrás y nos separamos del muelle. Una vez tenemos la suficiente distancia de los demás barcos damos avante. En mi opinión es muy importante atracar despacio no debemos tener prisa y aunque con el tiempo y la experiencia iremos dominando la maniobra hacerlo tranquilamente evitará estrés y problemas. Con el barco prácticamente parado nos vamos a la prueba cogemos el cabo con el mosquetón y lo enganchamos Con esta sencilla maniobra nos ahorraremos tener que poner los dos cabos de amarre pasando los por la gatera y haciendo el nudo a la cornamusa. El siguiente paso es cazar la boya con el bichero y con esta maniobra prácticamente tenemos el muerto de popa a bordo O explicó con detalle para qué sirve esta boya: Al tener la boya cerca de la popa nos ahorrará tener que andar cazando y subiendo más de 8 o 10 metros de la línea desde el pantalán a la boya. Y creedme, aunque parezca poca cosa esto es mucho trabajo cuando atacas solo con viento fuerte y el barco quiere cruzarse mientras tú tiras de la línea como un loco para evitarlo. Además también evita que al subir la línea ésta se pueda quedar enganchada en la orza o en la hélice. Terminamos de subir el muerto al barco y ojo si el cabo no está limpio tendrá mejillones y demás vida marina pudiendo producir cortes, es mejor usar guantes. Tiramos suavemente del cabo y el barco se irá moviendo hacia su sitio Me gusta el sistema de barbas de gato porque puedes regular con más precisión la fuerza que ejerce el muerto a babor o estribor y esto es muy útil dependiendo de donde sobre el viento. Hacemos un nudo a la cornamusa. Fijaos con qué tranquilidad, sin prisa ninguna y sin carreras vamos a poner los amarres de babor y estribor. Sin el truco del cabo con el mosquetón deberíamos amarrar muy rápido la proa y salir pitando a la popa para amarrar también y aunque no lo parezca a se tarda un tiempo en coger los cabos con el bichero, pasarlos por la gatera y hacer el nudo a la cornamusa. Ahora iremos cazando un cabo en una banda y en otra hasta dejar la prueba del barco en el sitio que queramos. Por fin montamos el motor! Nos ha costado cuatro días de intenso trabajo, más de lo esperado ya que los montantes del motor no tenian las dimensiones que había calculado. Finalmente pudimos solucionarlo y alinear el eje de la hélice con el motor. También explicamos como funciona el sistema de refrigeración por agua de mar del motor, aprovechando el tour que hacemos del compartimento una vez está instalado. Esperamos que os guste!
