We’re super excited to 1) have my little sister aboard with us and 2) officially leave the dock and move Calico Skies for the first time in MONTHS!! After picking Molly up in Bocas town we waste no time casting the lines and heading for an anchorage near town. We’re meeting friends on Delos, Hannah's Travels, Untide and s/v One Life for a hangout and party! It feels great to be on the hook again even though we’re being waked by the panga boats like crazy. The next morning we discover our windless is broken and on this second cruise realize something weird is up with the Alternator as well. We make it to Starfish Beach though and enjoy the ride even though winds were too light to sail. We spend the day paddle boarding and hanging out on the beach where we enjoy cocktails, friends, bright sun and palm trees :) Molly gets to see starfish though not as many as our last time here. Where have they gone? Nobody knows. After a beautiful sunset and evening on anchor we are in the water first thing in the morning for a refreshing dip. Bill fixes the windless, at least temporarily, so he doesn’t have to pull chain in thirty feet of water! A small victory. Later we head on back to Red Frog marina at our favorite island in Bocas del Toro to show Molly around and begin the job of fixing what’s broken. Da ich selber noch keinen Umbau gefunden habe, hier ein kurzes Video für den Umbau. Ich habe hier das „PHAETUS DRAGON HIGH FLOW HOT-END“ verbaut. Es funktioniert alles super und hoffe ich konnte euch bei der Entscheidung ein wenig weiterhelfen. Klar ist, dass nach dem Umbau komplett neu gelevelt werden muss. Auch eine Anpassung des Abstandes der Düse muss vorgenommen werden. Aktuelle Z-Achsen Position bei meinem Chiron nach dem Umbau: -17.40mm

Ein Refit steht an. Doch Broterwerb und Verpflichtungen lassen es nicht zu, monatelang in Griechenland am Boot zu arbeiten. Da wird schon 2018 die Idee geboren Squib nach Wien zu bringen, wo man jederzeit Zugang hat, der Einkauf von Material in der Muttersprache abgewickelt werden kann und alles andere seinen gewohnten Verlauf nimmt. Bereits 2018 starteten wir Richtung Wien, doch ein Motorschaden in der Straße von Messina zwang uns, den Überstellungstörn abzubrechen. In this episode we sail to the remote canyon of Gjipe, a gem of the Albanian Riviera. Not knowing anything about this hidden paradise we set sail from Himare. Though the wind gods are not on our side, we are greeted by dolphins on our bow instead on our sail there. As we drop anchor in front of the canyon, we get greeted by a spectacular sight and cannot wait to explore this marvel. We leave our sailboat without any preparation, still in our flip flops. The sheer vertical cliffs are looming and drawing us in. The unexplored nature makes us think we are in a set of Jurassic Park. We travel to many places but have never seen something like this and there is not another soul in sight. It is almost like we are the only ones here, surrounded by pure nature. What a spectacular place, few have ever sailed to or heard of.
