I was so excited to finally go to the Southampton Boat show and it didn't dissapoint! It was great seeing all the boats and difficult to get onboard due to covid restrictions, but I made it aboard a few differnet boats and actually fulfilled a bit of a silly dream of having a look around a Benetau Swift Trawler. I had a great chat with the Captain of the "Morgenster" and also with a few guys on older boats. I also loved looking around all the chandlery and of course had a really good look at the Icom booth to get a feel for handheld radios. I finshed the day with a crazy Rib experience doing about 40kts around Southamptom Bay and then had a more sedate tour on the foot ferry. The sun was shining all day long and it was a superb day! My only gripe would be that modern boats just don't seem so seaworthy to me. Il 5 e 6 Marzo 2017, dopo qualche settimana trascorsa a Shelter Bay (Colon), Y2K attraversa il Canale di Panama e raggiunge l'Oceano Pacifico. Chi ci segue da un po' di tempo riconoscerà alcune parti di questo video, appaiono qua e là in altri brevi video che abbiamo già pubblicato. Tuttavia il rimanente 80/85% del materiale è INEDITO. Abbiamo aggiunto alcuni spezzoni tratti dalla diretta LIVE di Facebook durante il secondo giorno, in particolare mentre attraversiamo le chiuse di Miraflores. Per il LIVE abbiamo utilizzato uno smartphone, la qualità video non è delle migliori e le immagini sono un pochino tremolanti... anche perchè eravamo molto, molto emozionati. Lo vedrete voi stessi😊🤭 Il passaggio del Canale di Panama è stata per noi un'emozione molto forte, seconda (forse...) solamente all'atterraggio in Polinesia Francese. За пять дней перехода у нас многое поломалось: 1. Отвалилась лестница в салон 2. Отключился VHF/AIS 3. Перестал работать мотор задней платформы для купания 4. Выпали два batons из mail sail и один из генуи 5. Перестала зажигаться газовая плита. Сломался соленойд рядом с балоном. 6. Отказала носовая подрулька. 7. Перестали работать содлнечные панели - не стало зарядки. 8. Отвалилась с потолка салона делоративная панель. 9. Заменили скрутку стакселя 10. Ну и по мелочи :) Мы всё вроде починили. В этом видео - обсуждаем что же мы в итоге поняли, если вообще :)

Las islas de San Blas un conjunto de 365 islas una para cada día del año. Os explicaremos a través de nuestra experiencia alquilando un velero con tripulación a bordo de un Bavaria 42 3 camarotes 2 baños. Como se vive en una zona donde el reloj hace mucho tiempo que esta parado. Mantienen la misma vida que sus antepasados, los indígenas Gunas vive su día día en la isla, pescando para poder vivir..... Seguramente nosotros no podemos entenderlo pero ellos son felices a su manera. Tendremos el placer de realizar el Webinar Junto a Oriol Lazaro un patrón experimentado que a navegado durante 4 años en la zona......... Todas las islas que visitamos están pobladas en su mayoría por una sola familia, ¿os imagináis vivir en una Isla vuestra familia solos? Pues alquilando un catamaran con tripulación o un velero es vuestra oportunidad de realizarlo, es una zona que NO es posible alquilar nada sin tripulación, pero la verdad que vale la pena un lugar que te sorprenderá en grandeza por su gente, no tanto por los animales que puedas encontrar, en cambio la fauna coralina esta muy presente y muy viva.
