After our time in Norfolk, it was time to leave and finally make our way into Chesapeake Bay. After 2 months on the ICW, we finally got to raise our sails. After half a year not being able to repair our Mercury 10hp outboard, and a Mercury dealer also failed, and I wanted to dump it in the deepest sea, two sailing neigbhours in Sicily were sure they could find the problem. It all came down to this day. With up to three races across the 10 classes, no lead was completely safe. The IC37 class, with 24 boats, was the extreme example, but New Wave sailed to the win. In the ORC Classes, Robin Team's Teamwork won ORC D and the overall title. The regatta ended with a Rolex Awards Banquet at Harbour Court, celebrating all that is great about sailing and the top competitors in each class.

Nach dem Act der Segel-Bundesliga auf der Außenalster, dem ersten Aufeinandertreffen der europäischen Spitzenclubs im Rahmen der SAILING Champions League und den Regatten der Kieler Woche, an denen zahlreiche Bundesligaseglerinnen und Segler teilnahmen, ist endlich wieder Zeit für Liga-Segeln vom Feinsten auf der Kieler Innenförde. „Die Innenförde bietet wie kaum ein anderes Segelrevier in Deutschland bestes Stadionsegeln vor vielen segelbegeisterten Zuschauern“, sagt Oliver Schwall, Organisator der Segel-Bundesliga. „Von hier aus werden wir die einzelnen Rennen live im Liga-TV von der natürlichen Tribüne aus in der Innenförde übertragen, so dass auch die Fans in den vielen Vereinen bundesweit live mitfiebern können.“ Uwe Wanger, Geschäftsführer der Kiel-Marketing, ergänzt: „Kiel.Sailing.City steht seit jeher für spannenden Segelsport zum Anfassen mit Stadion-Atmosphäre. Daher freuen wir uns die besten deutschen Vereinsteams auch in diesem Jahr wieder in der Kieler Innenförde feiern zu dürfen.“ Nach dem ersten Segel-Bundesliga Spieltag in Hamburg steht der Segel- und Motorboot Club Überlingen (SMCÜ) vom Bodensee überraschend an der Tabellenspitze, gefolgt von den beiden Hamburger Teams vom Mühlenberger und Hamburger Segel-Club. Der HSC ist mit Steuerfrau Silke Basedow der einzige Erstligaverein, der diese Saison mit einem rein weiblichen Team startete. Zur Überraschung vieler Beobachter blieben die bisherigen Top-Teams des Berliner Yacht-Club (BYC), Norddeutsche Regatta Verein (NRV), Wassersport-Verein Hemelingen (WVH) und der Verein Seglerhaus am Wannsee (VSaW) hinter den Erwartungen zurück und konnten sich nur im mittleren Tabellenbereich positionieren. „Auch die Rennen der zweiten Liga sind bei diesem Act hochinteressant“, analysiert Oliver Schwall mit Blick auf die Tabelle. „Die Segler vom Akademischen SegelVerein Warnemünde und vom Konstanzer Yacht Club träumen schon vom Aufstieg, doch das Team des Kieler Yacht-Club ist auf seinem Heimatrevier für mehr als eine Überraschung gut.“ Schon bald nach dem zweiten Act der Segel-Bundesliga in Kiel findet in Travemünde im Rahmen der Travemünder Woche der dritte Liga Act der Saison statt, außerdem das Finale der SAILING Champions League. „Wir haben den Liga-Spielplan dieses Jahr so konzipiert, dass vier Events im Norden der Republik stattfinden, danach geht es nach Berlin und an den Bodensee“, sagt Liga-Manager Oliver Schwall. „Durch die Konzentration der ersten vier Acts zwischen Hamburg und Warnemünde wollen wir unnötige Fahrt- und Transportkosten vermeiden und im Sinne des Klima- und Umweltschutzes Ressourcen schonen.“ Alle News zum Liga-Event in Kiel, Crew- und Pairinglisten, Tracking und Ergebnisse gibt es https://deutsche-segelbundesliga.de/. Пришли на Сардинию 4 Ноября в 22:00 вечера после 60 часов в море (шли с Липарских островов), прибыли в Ла Калетту. Небольшой городишко на восточном побережье Сардинии. Ничего особенного если бы не наличие местной Марины - своего рода хороший перевалочный пункт для яхтсменов, которые идут с Турции и Греции в Испанию, на Канарские острова и дальше через Атлантику. Здесь можно перевести дух, передохнуть, сделать мелкий и средний ремонт и идти дальше на Запад. Простояли 3 ночи. За это время решили небольшую проблему с lazy jack, заправились дизелем, постирались и совершили пешую экскурсию в соседний городишко Посад?? в 5-ти км. на СЕВЕР от нашей марины где мы остановились. Стас улетел назад в Белоруссию. У него всего была неделя в распоряжении, а мы много времени потеряли на Сицилии, но зато у нас пополнение. Из Санкт Петербурга прилетела Мария и планирует идти до Канарских островов... 7 Ноября в 6 утра покинули Ла Калетту и взяли курс на Корсику =================================== November 4 at 22:00 pm after 60 hours at sea (sailed from the Aeolian Islands) arrived in La Caletta. Nothing special about this place if it weren't for the presence of the local Marina - a kind of good transit point for yachtsmen who go from Turkey and Greece to Spain, the Canary Islands and further across the Atlantic. Here one can take a rest, make minor and medium boat repairs and go further to the West. We stayed 3 nights. During this time, we solved a small problem with a lazy jack, refueled with diesel, did laundry and made a walking tour to the neighboring town of Posada, 5 km away. North of our marina where we are staying. Stas flew back to Belarus. He only had a week at his disposal, and we lost a lot of time in Sicily, but we have replenishment. Maria flew in from St. Petersburg and plans to go to the Canary Islands... Obwohl wir niemals mit einem Katamaran gesegelt sind und mit unsere Beneteau sehr zufrieden sind finden wir die NEEL Trimarans ausgesprochen interessant. Da wir uns nicht vorstellen konnten wie es auf so einem Boot ist, haben wir uns eine gechartert. Freunde und Kinder wollten dann auch gleich dabei sein, die "one in a liftime" Chance nutzen und so stechen wir in See. Wir versuchen das Boot und seine Leistungsfähigkeit bzw.
