Boo Window is in south Raja Ampat, also known as Misool. It's quite easy to see where this dive site gets its name, if you look at the map and the dive site itself. These "windows" in the island is not the only attraction of course. Although it's a beautiful site with colorful soft coral surrounding these windows, and the site, there are a wealth of marine life to be found here. Sailing south back to port from the San Juan’s. We get to sail in some beautiful weather downwind. The next day we go through a fog bank for about 10 miles with no radar, and through the Tacoma Narrows. I found an AIS map on my phone and found there was a tug and barge heading right for us in the fog.

We couldn't go to the boatyard because of the rain, but we still got a lot done! https://www.lodos.fr le Challenge des moniteurs ESF 2023 du 17 au 22 Avril 2023 Cette compétition annuelle, véritable « Championnat de France des moniteurs esf », vient clôturer la saison de ski par des compétitions très relevées, toutes disciplines. Quelle que soit la catégorie d’âge, dans l’ambiance festive qui caractérise le Challenge ! Les compétiteurs ne sont pas là pour rigoler. Tous les matins, ils s’affrontent en slalom, en géant, en télémark, en skicross ou encore en snowboard, pour espérer décrocher le titre de champion de France des moniteurs ESF. A ce petit jeu, les premiers podiums ont été décernés, ce mardi matin au pied du stade d’Arare, avec les meilleurs freestyleurs, en ski comme en snowboard. Les spécialistes de ski de randonnée ont également été récompensés. Et après la Compèt, c’est la fête… !! Avec du gros fun au programme En plus des compétitions qui se déroulent toutes les matinées de la semaine à Avoriaz, des épreuves ludiques ponctuent les après-midi au Challenge des moniteurs. Car une fois que les concours officiels ont rendu leur verdict, un autre Challenge se met en place : celui de la bonne humeur.

Two years ago, after two years and three attempts, I finally arrived in the deep inlet of Uken on Amami Ōshima. Welcomed by my mate Matt Pride and the Mayor, I also made new friends: Mitsu and his colleague Kenchan. It was also Shintaro's final days with me on board Wahine. Matt took me on some adventures, including lifting the strength stone to prove my manhood! Now, having returned to Amami, I can confidently say it's my favorite cruising ground in Japan. Out of the 80 places I've moored and visited since leaving Tokyo four years ago, Amami stands out. It's an adventure island for sure. Amami Ōshima, located in Kagoshima Prefecture, is renowned for its lush subtropical landscapes, pristine beaches, and rich cultural heritage. The island is part of the Amami Guntō National Park and was designated a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2021 . Its unique blend of Ryukyuan and Japanese cultures, along with its vibrant music and traditional crafts like Oshima Tsumugi silk, make it a truly special destination .
