St Lucia - Rodney Bay’de 2 hafta tamiratla uğraşıp tekneyi toparlamaya çalıştık. Oya ve Larry sayesinde bir küçük kaçamak yaptık, adada minik bir tur attık. Ufak bir çikolata atölyesi, kakao plantasyonu ve Pitonları gezdik. Malzemeleri alır almaz da yola koyulduk. St. Lucia’da vergisiz mazot olduğu için ayrılmadan depoları dolduralım dedik. Bir gariplik olduğu belliydi ama başımıza geleni idrak edememişiz :/ Daha mazotu doldurmaya başladığımızda teknenin için mazot kokmaya başladı. Çok gemeden kaçağın yeni değiştirdiğimiz göstergeden olduğunu fark ettik ama neredeyse 10 litre mazot çoktan sintineye akmıştı. Yol boyunca da sızıntı devam etti. Hava sakin olduğu için şanslıydık. Sintineye akan mazotu basa basa Piton'lara ulaştık. Retour à la Gomera en Mars Avril 2023 avec notre voilier NANA. C'est notre île préférée des Canaries. Nouvelles voiles en hydranet triradial et encore des randonnées et des prises de vues en Drone. Méthode pour filmer un voilier en navigation avec un drone "Grand Public" stabilisé de type DJI. (Mon drone un DJI MINI 2) IMPERATIF DESACTIVER LE CAPTEUR D'ASSISTANCE A L'ATTERRISSAGE, l'assistance à l'atterrissage peut simplifier l'atterrissage si on atterrit sur un plan fixe, or là ça n'est pas le cas. Ici si on désactive l'assistance à l'atterrissage on gagne en précision et en plus on peut récupérer le drone dans la main. (Des petites poignées amovibles pour saisir le drone en dessous existent). Pour desactiver l'assistance à l'atterrissage, passer le switch de la radiocommande en mode Sport, sur le logiciel DJI Fly le mode Sport désactive normalement l'assistance à l'atterrissage, de plus cela donne un peu plus de réactivité aux commandes surtout si on utilise des flotteurs... Je préfére personnellement l'application Litchi qui est plus simple et ergonomique et possède en plus un mode "Follow Me" pouvant être intéressante en voilier (là le drone se cale par rapport à la position GPS du smartphone) Dans Litchi passer aussi le switch de la radiocommande en mode sport et dans le menu DRONE désactiver l'assistance à l'atterrissage. Le RTH ne sert absolument a rien et est même déconseillé puisque le drone retournera à son point de départ et le voilier s'étant déplacé, le drone ira à coup sur vers l'eau.... Procédure de décollage: placer le drone sur un plan fixe et dégagé à l'arrière du voilier, l'Ideal étant le portique des panneaux solaires. L'objectif doit être toujours tourné vers l'arrière du voilier. Lancer le décollage, le drone monte d'un mètre et se stabilise mais le voilier avançant, le drone se retrouve au dessus de l'eau sans obstacles. Attendre quelques secondes, faire monter le drone et le vol autour du voilier peut commencer ! (Si une poignée est sous le drone dans ce cas le décollage se fera toujours à l'arrière du voilier en tenant le drone bien horizontal par la poignée avec aucun obstacle au dessus et sur les côtés). Procédure d'atterrissage: Approcher lentement le drone vers un plan dégagé du bateau, l'assistance à l'atterrissage étant désactivée le drone suivra exactement les commandes que vous lui donnez et ne remontera pas automatiquement si un objet est détecté sous lui. Pour les pilotes expérimentés poser le drone au sol (sur le pont du voilier) et couper les moteurs (sur dji couper les moteurs = manette de gauche en bas à droite et manette de droite en bas à gauche). Il est plus simple d'avoir une personne qui attrapera le drone dans sa main et lui fera faire ensuite une rotation de 90% pour stopper les moteurs. Selon moi il est préférable d'équiper son drone de flotteurs mais cela nuit aux qualités de vol du drone et à son autonomie car les moteurs tournent là plus vite. Eventuellement prévoir une grande épuisette.... Cette méthode n'est valable que pour des drones de type DJI grand public stabilisés et souvent bardés de capteurs. Cela ne concerne pas les Drones FPV beaucoup plus rapides et qui nécessitent un apprentissage du pilotage préalable sur simulateur (au moins 2O heures). Pour ces drones là le mieux est de prévoir un grand drap tendu. Si on dispose d'un drone fpv avec des protections d'hélices, pour l'atterrissage envoyer le drone dans un grand drap tendu par 2 équipiers ou dans la GV et couper les moteurs! Pour un voilier au mouillage, le voilier étant dans une position relativement fixe, le décollage et l'atterrissage sont plus simples mais combien de drones sur des chaines YouTube de voiliers j'ai déjà vu partir dans l'eau...... Toutes ces recettes nécessitent bien entendu une certaine habitude du pilotage de ces drones dits stabilisés et tout cela est à vos risques et péril....

La depressione tropicale creatasi sulle Vanuatu alla fine non si trasforma in niente di serio, ci becchiamo tanta acqua e qualche rafficozzo mentre il sistema si sposta verso la Nuova Zelanda. Durante le giornate di pioggia intensa lavoriamo all'interno, facciamo il tagliando al motore, installiamo la nuova pompa ad alta pressione per il nostro dissalatore, sistemiamo e ottimizziamo i gavoni interni che scoppiano per tutte le parti di ricambio. Poi torna il sole e possiamo issare la trinchetta (con più di qualche intoppo 😉), il genoa e ripristinare il nostro generatore eolico "Peppino". Adesso ci tocca sistemare tutti i gavoni esterni di Y2K, in modo particolare il super-mega-gavone di sinistra profondo un po' meno di 2 metri, issare la randa e installare la nuova lavatrice arrivata fresca fresca dall'Australia. The Dorothy, built in 1897, has never been fully reefed or re-caulked, which is the process of pounding cotton and oakum between the seams of a wooden sailboat's planks. Shipwright and artist Tony Grove explains the process of reefing - pulling out the cotton material - out without damaging the boat's 130-year-old delicate cedar planks. Dorothy is considered to be the oldest functioning sailboat in Canada, and is set to return to the water in May 2023, for the first time in 20+ years! She is owned by the Maritime Museum of BC, and will sail as a live vessel and an elegant ambassador for heritage boats built on the Pacific Northwest Coast. This video is produced by Arise Enterprises Ltd, part of a series of videos about the restoration of Dorothy, and the background for a feature-length film, "Between Wood and Water", in production since 2013.
