Nous sommes toujours à Mayotte, dans l’attente de nos colis de pièces de rechange pour Javerne. Un coli des États-Unis, et 3 colis de France. Que c’est long cette attente. Entre-temps on installe un tout nouveau chargeur de batteries de 70A, assez compliqué à paramétrer, mais la communauté Facebook a trouvé la solution très rapidement. Tous ces appareils Victron ont maintenant la possibilité de dialoguer entre eux, et se réguler automatiquement. Ensuite le guindeau qui décide de fonctionner au ralenti, j’en profite pour le démonter et le nettoyer et découvrir que le problème vient simplement des charbons. Que je commande dans la foulée en France. Donc du coup on décide d’aller faire un petit tour dans le lagon, et au moment de hisser la grand voile, la drisse cassé, et bloque la GV au milieu du mat. Impossible de la redescendre. Donc il aura fallu pas moins de 5 montée en tête de mat pour passer la nouvelle drisse. On part quand même à la découverte de l’île et de faire le tour du lac Dziani à pied. Une marche éprouvante de… 1h30 sous un soleil de plomb. Le voilier était vraiment ancien et méritait quelques travaux de rénovation. Cet hiver, nous refaisons les peintures et le cockpit. Le teck du cockpit était au bout de sa vie, nous l'avons remplacé par du liège. Ce sera beaucoup plus confortable.

Molti giovani laureati in Medicina (ma anche molti infermieri professionali) vanno via perché ritengono inadeguato uno stipendio che non supererà mai i 1500 euro al mese; perché le strutture pubbliche (mal gestite anche a causa della scarsità delle risorse economiche) non permettono una vera crescita professionale e per non perdere un anno della loro vita a causa del servizio militare obbligatorio. Vanno in Francia, dove c'è una sorta di concorso per il riconoscimento del titolo di studio seguito da un tirocinio di due anni. Lavorano con stipendi degni di questo nome e a fine carriera tornano nei paesi dai quali erano partiti: anziani e pieni di esperienza. E continuano a fare i medici nei loro studi privati. Ottimi medici. E io di questi medici ne ho proprio bisogno
